Big Book of Crosswords 5: 300 quick crossword puzzles (Collins Crosswords)

I did like the crosswords in this book to a point.. But some left me wanting. The one word clues can be confusing. Need to really think about the answers as more than one answer will fit the space. Glad the answers come with the book. I like to think that I am quite good as crosswords but even I could not complete as some words are very obscure and would be better in more 'Times' like crossword.

Mixture of easy and more challenging crosswords. Disagreed with many clues/answers. Infuriating. Unsuitable binding means you have to hold the book open with one hand all the time. A spiral binding would have been so much better.

Great value, nice thick crisd word book I bought this for my parents the words are very legible and easy to read but they are not in large print if that is what you are looking for just regular.Over 300 cross word puzzles .

The clues are fine not too difficult but not easy, you still have to think - using your brain. Just wish printing was bigger.

Ordered this and it arrived with the back cover all bent over. Requested an exchange and was sent another which was only slightly better and still badly creased. Would be OK if using yourself at that price but looks too tatty to give as a gift.

Great puzzles. Good clues just as it says a satisfying challenge that’s not too taxing when you have five minutes to spare.

Exactly as depicted described...good value/ so much enjoyment... recommended.

Some repetitive clues and obscure words but just ok. Not my favourite
