Vet Basics Chlor 4 Shampoo - for Dogs & Cats & Horses - 16 oz

My friend dog has suffered for over 6 years with a skin condition that leaves him without hair in almost his entire body every year. Between October and March we had to take him to his vet at least 10 t0 15 times, to include some emergency vet visits over night or weekend.When we started using this product on him, I noticed improvement within days. On the third day I saw the soars and cracked skin drying out. In two weeks he got better than with all the shots, pills, and products given by his vet.This product is the answer to our prayers for our little friend. He let's us hold him and rub our hands on him as if he enjoy feeling our hands on his skin. Before he would run away or hide and would not let us hold him unless we forced him.This is a great product and my little friend and I recommend it for any animal's skin problem.My little friend does not grow hair in some parts of his body, but his skin looks healthy and clean and that bad smell is not an issue any more.I learned about it by watching the rescue dog shows. They mention it once and I did not hesitated. It was my last result. I am glad I ordered it and I will not use any other shampoo on my dog.

I needed a good medicated shampoo for my white-Bichon-Poo's paws. I looked for one that had 4% chlorhexidine gluconate because she was constantly gnawing and biting at her paws. I ordered this and it has helped some. I have to use quite a bit to lather it up and make sure I get deep in her paws. It smells okay but I don't care too much if it doesn't smell that great if it helps her. I still have to use Hydro-cortisone spray and soak her paws in Betadine between shampoos along with a change her diet. I believe this shampoo has helped her but it doesn't completely get rid of her paw problems.

Dogs hair has started to grow back in. I used it with the dip. Buy both products. German Shepherd pure breed allergies and skin infection.

I like this shampoo. It leaves my dog shining, and soft, and not itching. The flaky skin clears. I used it 3 times the first week. 2 times the next, and now 1 time a week. I will step it up as necessary. I love the smell of this stuff, too. almost like Grapefruit (?).

Our dog swims in the river and gets pretty smelly. This shampoo keeps him clean and healthy.
