As an avid hiker, I need hiking boots that are comfortable, breathable with the right grip for whatever terrain I am on - as well as water resistance. The Strata offer all of these things and more. I wore the first pair in 80 ° weather in September and hiked 7 miles. My feet stayed dry and weren’t sweaty. My feet were comfortable the entire time. These hikers don’t require breaking in, they’re comfortable right out of the box. I sized up 1/2 size for colder months when wearing thicker socks and had no problem in the late summer - early fall with thinner socks. The toe box is generous and my toes aren’t squished. The laces stay tied. I switch up between these 2 pair and they’re the most comfortable hikers I’ve ever owned. Don’t sleep on these. They’re high quality, stitched well, lightweight and breathable with real leather/suede. They’re like clouds! The colors are cool, too. The Stone Green/Sunstone are loud and proud!
