HE853 Remote Control PC USB Dongle

I wish I didn't have to give them any stars, I'd prefer to take them away, unfortunately 1 is the minimum.After a great deal of time and effort, I finally managed to find out why I couldn't get this device to work. The manufacturer informed me that this device is only for use with devices (sockets etc) which have been bought on the continent - it is completely incompatible with any such devices on sale in the UK!The text of the email from the manufacturer:------------------------------There are 2 versions of Home Easy.The UK version is only available in the UK and suppled by ourselves CHByron / Homeeasy. All UK versions will work with UK versions.The other version is EU. All items not listed on our [...], have EU at the end of the product code or have been purchased outside the UK will not work with UK versions.The item you have purchased is not available in the UK as we do not supply it, this item HE853 will not work with UK Home Easy products.There is an item available called tellstick available from many UK stores. The website is [...] The Tellstick will work with UK home easy products and works the same as the HE853.------------------------------I forwarded this email to Conrad Electronic UK almost 3 months ago, and they have still done nothing about this listing.I will have nothing to do with this company ever again! The delivery of the item took almost a month for a device the size of a standard memory stick. It came in a box that would fit most printers, hence the delivery costs. It then took me about a week to discover what the problem was and ask for a refund. Conrad Electronics take 3-5 weeks to reply to any emails, so it was a further 2 months before I finally got a refund. But they did at least refund the packaging cost as well as the item.
