A very good product with fast delivery
The Gila FS600 Window Film kit arrived quickly and in great condition, along with the window film I ordered to go with it. The spray worked very well with the film and the knife cut nicely until I had to start snapping off the ends to get to a sharp edge again. The new edge caught the film a bit on the corners, so I got around that by cutting from the middle of a window edge and sliding it outwards towards the corner, then going the opposite direction on the other half of the edge. The squeegee worked perfectly, even on my French door windows. Doing all of those took patience and a cold beverage. I ordered the 15 foot roll and the spray solution was plenty to complete a set of windows using nearly the whole role (except for the first piece which fell on my head and into my hair, causing me to make a run, hair sticking up all over, to the package store for some liquid patience. Preparation for an area to cut and move about freely, a second pair of hands, and reading the directions, that come with the film, before you start the project, are essential to success.

Good stuff
It worked great for me! Like a lot of other people notes, the razor blade is very flimsy, but I have a million of those laying around anyways, I just got it for the solution and the squeegee. The solution worked fine, did what it was supposed to, it comes with a full size bottle and I didn't even use half for the whole car so there is plenty left over although I don't know what else it could be used for....The squeegee was nice, just what I needed. I used this one along with one of the small card sized ones and it was a good combo. I liked this one for the bigger area and my first run on the edges, then I used the other one to fine tune the edges because I just felt that one I could push harder for a tighter application.I just wish it came with more towels, or a bigger one because even after just my rear two windows, which it's a coupe so they are tiny, my rag was dirty and too wet to do any more. I ended up just taking it inside and rinsing it off a bit then blow drying it, and hey it worked!

It's ok
I bought this more for the squeeze tool and the utility knife. The solution is OK. Making your own should be the same. It's just soap and water.

Useful kit if you don't have these things
OK, so I decided this was a cheaper buy (with free shipping) than getting the elements that I needed separately. The most valuable thing to me in this kit is the 3 in 1 squeegee. It allows you to wrap the lint free cloth and really clean out in between the corners and seams of the windows. The soft side of the squeegee is curved a bit which is OK but you kind of have to push it hard to get a good wipe on flat surfaces. The window film solution worked well enough, but I've heard reports that you can just use a bit of baby shampoo and distilled water and have the same results. The spray bottle itself worked well and I will save it for when I refill it with home made soap water. The razor was sharp, the plastic handle light and cheap feeling but it worked fine. Razor blades broke off easily for advancing the edge. The lint free cloth worked well, but I wish it came with more than one, I'll have to buy another as I totally used that one up and got it all dirty so I trashed it afterward.I used this kit for my first time doing a window tint and it came out OK, so it worked for me.

Just make your own, honestly
I've used this a bunch of times, but the solution is always too water-rich so it dries too fast and you don't get the flexibility you need sometimes to move the tint around. A simple mix of water and baby shampoo works better -- and you can control the mix. I give it 3 stars for convenience though.

Nice to have
I'd buy it again. It made installation easier.

The label should have had bold letters reading, "Warning! Eye and skin irritant! Possible Human and Pet Hazard!"
This is my wife's review. She has more sensitive skin than I do, and not everyone may have the reaction to the liquid that she did. Here's what she had to say: "I thought the relatively mild warning on the label was more or less for people who might accidently spray themselves in the face, but then I got a little on my hand. My skin was admittedly dry from the harsh winter, but the skin wasn't broken, so the burning sensation was somewhat alarming. I then also realized our two cats would probably be investigating shortly. I had visions of dead or poisoned pets, so I promptly ran cold water over my hands to help stop the burning, dumped the contents of the bottle into the sink, rinsed the bottle (and sink) thoroughly, re-washed the windows and frames, rinsed the privacy film I had been applying, and started over. This time I put plain water with just a drop or two of liquid soap into the spray bottle. I can't recommend the little cutting tool either, BTW. It is very flimsy, so the blade tip bends too easily and the blade slides too much while in use. One would be better off buying a real 'Exacto'. I already had one, so I switched to that. All in all, not worth the money, and there is absolutely no reason for the hazardous liquid, which came in a slightly leaky spray bottle. Not sure where the leak was in the pump/cap, but one would at least think the bottle would have been sealed, and the pump packaged with it, not already in it. I even had to rinse the package the things came in before trashing the packaging, as I wasn't sure how safe the residue might be around nosy cats. If you do use it, I recommend using disposable gloves, eye protection (I have glasses), be careful about inhaling (use spray bottle at arm's length). Please keep children and pets well away from the area, and remember to rinse everything thoroughly afterward, including the window sills and/or frames."
