You put it in the water and it sinks. No issue there.Second off, the eyelets for these lures are pretty durable. It's not going to break off on you.This is the best deal I've found on Amazon for sinkers like these. For most applications, you're only gonna need the 1 oz and the 2 oz, and you get 16 and 8 of those respectively. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These will work *by F***B on July 15, 2017* Great price and will work as needed. Not like this is some new technology. Lead fishing weights have been around a while and we all know if you tie it to a fishing line and place it in water it's going to sink...The quality is good and the price is the best point. Not exactly related but at the same time I ordered these I also ordered a scale. Used the pack of weights to test the accuracy of the scale and either the scale is off or these weights are off by an average of 1/16 of an ounce per weight.
