Discrete and work great!
I've had these since October 2023, it is Feb 28, 2024. They have been great for work. I just plug them into a bluetooth adapter and drop the cord and adapter down the front of my shirt. No one can tell I'm listening to music, podcasts etc. I did notice that they seemed to put out less volume over the last couple weeks. I work in machine shop where the sound level is about 80 decibels and even with my volume turned all the way up I was having a hard time hearing them. I guess the speakers must have worn out. So I ordered another pair, I got the Endurance ones instead of the basic. I just tried them out today and wow, what a difference! For just a couple bucks more the sound is definitely better. So nothing wrong with the basic, they worked great for over a year, no problem with wires coming out or anything, the silicone plugs are still like new.If you need to be discrete these thing are great!

Great Protection, Great Sound.
I have been using these Plugfones at work, and so far, no one has noticed. The sound is quite good. I listen to audiobooks as well as music. I work in a very loud environment. Because these block out much of the surrounding noise, I can keep the volume of my media quite low, and still understand every word.I have noticed some reviews stating that these are "uncomfortable". It is understood that these are not as comfortable as other types of earbuds. Earbuds are much more comfortable than earplugs. This is a given. However, you generally cannot wear earplugs and earbuds at the same time. That's what makes these Plugfones so unique! Since hearing protection is Mandatory where I work, I am used to using earplugs. These are as comfortable as any provided by the company.Headphones and earbuds, of any kind, are not allowed where I work. According to management, they are "Not OSHA Authorized", and therefore not safe. The company provides earplugs that have a "Noise Reduction Rating" of 28 or 29 decibels. These Plugfones have a "Noise Reduction Rating" of 25 decibels. Therefore, even if they did notice, according to their own criteria, these are legal. If you have found these Plugfones, then you have most likely been searching for the same reasons I was. I highly recommend these.Update: I have seen multiple reviews that say these don't last. Hogwash! I have been using these Plugfones for about 2 months now. I have yet to have any problems with the wires, sound quality, or external noise reduction. When you take the plug out of your ear, grab the Plug...Not the Wire. Just like unplugging something from the wall. I have accidentally yanked the plug out of my ear by catching the wire when I was busy. They still work great. If you are going to use these at work, don't complain about the sound quality. In reality, you cannot appreciate the sound quality of ANY headphones in an industrial environment. The ambient noise is just too distracting. Besides, you are supposed to be listening for alarms, fork truck horns, etc. These are designed to allow you to listen to music in the workplace while maintaining a level of safety. If you use common sense, and don't blast the volume, you can enjoy the media of your choice without getting into trouble with management.

Look like earplugs, sound like earbuds, delivers whats promised.
I got these for low profile listening at work where plugs are required and buds are not allowed on the floor. So far so good. No one has noticed or said anything. If this is the use case you are looking for, these will probably work. You should know that 1. There is a yoke where the left and right "cords" join. This looks like what it is and would be obvious to anyone looking for shenanigans.2. The cord is much much longer than any earplug cords ive ever seen. So as long as you can keep that from being seen, bobs your uncle. As to the sound quality, gotta say its really not bad. I have a pair of basic skullcandy buds that sound about the same and cost similar. So the price is about right for the sound quality. The bonus with these is that they retain a Noise Reduction Rating, which basically functions as noise cancellation, just passive and not active. Its pretty good about as good as the work supplied earplugs. Cant really complain for the most part. The build quality does feel about like it should for sub $20 earbuds. That is to say that its not top notch material, and its not gonna be a product sith a life span in years if its used regularly. At the price if i have to buy them 2 or three times a year because im rough on them, then to be able to have something to listen to 12 hrs a day, thats worth the price. This is one of their basic sets, they have higher quality ones with better build for a higher price but they dont really qualify as low profile as much as these do.Comfort,They are really comfortable. I work 12 hrs wearing them and they dont really bother my ears much. They are really soft. Theres a tendency to try to screw them in or twist them when inserting,I reccomend against this, it will drive them in but they tend to work their way back out some when you do it, which reduces the ear protection they offer.I dont want to damage my hearing, i just want music or talk during my otherwise overhelmingly noisy and boring day. They will pull out pretty easy if snagged or tugged on, so keep cord management in mind.Great purchase for the reason i got them.I turn the volume down really low, still hear about as much as i could with regular earplugs in and still have ear protection. Ticks all the boxes.
