All you have to do it place the wax cup melt in the top of the burner and press the button on the centre of the burner to start it up. The smell of the melts fills the whole of the house and is really strong, so bear that in mind if your sensitive to strong smells, i like that and its what I wanted. I also like that you can put it on a timer for 3, 6 or 9hrs depending on preference, as you can just leave it going then and it will switch of when its done. It is also good value for money and I am thinking of getting another one for upstairs.

**Q: Can any wax melts be used in this?**
A: I also empty out the warm wax from the Yankee plastic cup holder and then melt the cube wax melts into it. Works fine. 3 or 4 cubes is fine.

**Q: I have electric melt warmer with removable melt holder.  Would I be able to place the plastic scenterpiece cup direct on the warming plate?**
A: Yes you can. I do exactly this! I have taken an empty Scenterpiece cup & filled it with "normal" melts & it works fine.

**Q: Cord length please.?**
A: About 3 feet

**Q: Please can someone confirm absolutely for certain this has the 3 period Timer? Some answers say yes & some no.**
A: Yes, it has 3, 6, and 9 hours, and then switches off automatically.

The yankee candle scenter piece wax cup melt warmer looks really elegant and stylish is my living room and is a nice size and very easy to use. It's been used to relieve the food odours it leaves behind after cooking. It's got 3 timers which are simple to set up so they you aren't forgetting to turn it off. It's doing the job just wish the fragrance were strong
