OBI-36 Egg Incubator, Humidity Control, Automatic Turning, Candler

The OBI‑36 incubator is a compact, lightweight unit that’s easy to set up and understand, and it offers several helpful features for small‑scale hatching. The digital display is clear and shows both temperature and humidity, and the automatic turning system rotates the eggs multiple times a day without needing any manual input. The included “Eggloo” insulation is a useful addition for colder rooms, and the external water ports make it possible to adjust humidity without opening the lid, which helps keep conditions stable. The adjustable rollers make it possible to fit different egg sizes, and the built‑in candler is bright enough for quick checks without needing a separate tool. The incubator is advertised for up to 36 eggs, though the fit is tighter with larger chicken eggs. The unit runs quietly, and the fan distributes heat evenly during operation. There are a few limitations to be aware of. The viewing window is small, so you can’t see much of the interior without opening the lid. The humidity level drops faster than expected and needs topping off more than once a day, especially in drier rooms. There’s no day countdown feature, so you’ll need to track lockdown and hatch timing separately. The turner also can’t be manually activated for testing, so confirming rotation requires marking a few eggs and watching over time. a plus is the dc included alligator clips in case you lose power or are off grid and use batteries. Overall, this incubator is a practical option for families, classrooms, or small farms wanting an affordable automatic model. It maintains temperature well, is easy to clean, and includes several features usually found in more expensive units. It does require a bit more hands‑on monitoring for humidity and timing, but it performs reliably once set up.

Everything works like it should but it's very touchy! Alam goes off easy when it cold even Tho it was in a building and has foam. it still kept going off!! even when it's too warm. So, I know it won't be good to use in the summer!!or deep winters.

It does hold 36 eggs but not all on rollers. Its not see thru where you can see what's going on like the picture showes. Im on lockdown right now but temp stayed up like supposed to.

Overall, this 36 Egg Incubator has been solid so far. It holds a good number of eggs without feeling overcrowded, and the temperature control has stayed consistent, which was one of my biggest priorities. The display is easy to read, and setup was pretty straightforward. I have it fully loaded now and am looking forward to hatch day. My only real complaint is the humidity filling system. Refilling the water is a bit inconvenient and not as user friendly as I would like. It takes a little extra effort to make sure the levels stay where they need to be. Aside from that, it seems reliable and well built. I am hopeful for a successful hatch.

This is a great incubator, and a great brand. The materials are super durable, so if it's for a classroom or kids it's highly unlikely they would accidentally break or damage it. It's self explanatory and the instructions are printed right on the hood so you don't have to keep referencing the manual, which is a treat. It's easy to set up and fits a variety of egg sizes. The noise is minimal, but you can hear the auto-turn kick in which is fun for my classroom. They love to watch the revolutions, and it affords conversations on farming and hatching. Humidity control is excellent, it keeps steady temps and humidity and even self-regulates for the changes of lockdown. This is one of the best things I've ever bought for my science kids, they are engaged and I've never seen them more eager to learn. Great hatch rate, easy to clean, solid value for the cost.

So far so good! The set up was easy but upon plugging it in, it beeped so loud for over an hour until I finally figured out what exactly it was that was causing it. Since then, it’s ran great! I let it run for 24 hours before putting eggs in as the last incubator from a different company malfunctioned and cause me to loose a lot of money due to it cooking the eggs. Anyways the only thing I can say about this that doesn’t have instructions for is why the humidity gets low within 12 hours or so and have to top it off 2 times a day. I’m not sure what that’s about but not that big of a deal. I’m glad I took a shot with this one and will be my second incubator running for this hatching season! If anything changes after this review, I will update!

There are many improvements I would make to this incubator however it does seem to do well regulating heat and humidity. I have not yet used this for an incubation cycle however have set it up and tested it to ensure it will be suitable for use this summer. This incubator includes a styrofoam bottom and there is a small window to view the eggs on the side. You cannot view from the top at all, and just from the tiny window in the styrofoam. We will definitely use the styrofoam for extra heat savings however wish there was a better view of the eggs during incubation. There are several rollers included and notches along each side to adjust for egg size. The rollers work every 90 minutes and you cannot make them rotate by the push of a button to test it. This was frustrating as I wanted to ensure the eggs would rotate correctly so we ended up placing an x on a few dummies to test it out. It works to rotate the eggs, so that’s good. There is no day countdown on this incubator. You will have to keep track of when lockdown is and take the rollers out for hatching. The humidity is easy to regulate. There is a squeeze bottle included that you stream the water into the side of the incubator at the viewing window. Overall this incubator will do the job but wish there was a rotate button, better viewing ability and a countdown.

I’ve been dreaming about starting a small-scale homesteading project for a bit now, and I thought, why not get the ball rolling with this OBI-36 Egg Incubator? I haven’t officially kicked off my first hatch yet, but I’ve been having a blast unboxing it and playing around with the features to get a feel for the whole system. Honestly, I’m really impressed by how much “tech” is crammed into this little yellow unit. It honestly feels like a super professional way to dive into hatching. The Good Stuff: - Impressive 36-Egg Capacity: Seriously, the size is just perfect. It can handle a good batch of chicken eggs, but the design is flexible enough that I could totally switch to duck or quail eggs down the road. It’s like an “all-in-one” solution for anyone looking to grow this hobby. - Worry-Free Automatic Turning: Now, this is the feature I’ve been eagerly waiting for. The fact that the incubator can automatically turn the eggs is such a relief; it really takes the human error out of the picture. No more stressing about being home every few hours to manage the tray manually, thank goodness for that! - Built-in LED Candler: Genius idea, having the candler built right into the unit! It makes it super easy to check on how the embryos are developing without needing to move the eggs to some external light source. This way, the internal temperature stays nice and stable. - Precise Humidity & Temp Control: The digital display is really clear, showing real-time readouts for both temperature and humidity. It feels solid and professional, giving me a ton of confidence that I can hit that “sweet spot” needed for a successful hatch. The “Heads Up” Stuff: - Plan Your Project Ahead: Since I’m using this for a future project, I’ve come to realize there’s a bit of a learning curve when it comes to understanding the specific humidity needs for different eggs. I’d definitely suggest reading the manual from cover to cover and maybe checking out a few “how-to” videos before you dive in with your first set of eggs. - Stable Environment is Key: Just a little heads-up: even though the incubator is well-insulated, it’s best to set it up in a room with a stable temperature. You really want to avoid putting it near drafty windows or AC vents; those can make the heater work a bit too hard. - Water Management: Keep an eye on the water levels to maintain the humidity. I’m thinking of keeping a bottle of distilled water handy to make quick top-ups easy, so I don’t have to open the lid for too long. Bottom Line: If you’re on the lookout for a high-quality, automated way to kick off hatching at home, this OBI-36 incubator is a fantastic find. It feels well-built, looks super professional, and the automated features really take the stress out of the whole process. Honestly, it’s given me so much more confidence to move forward with my future farm project!

You can stop the annoying beeping that occurs from low temperature by pressing the - button. Works great so far and even better customer service. My first unit came with a broken roller slot, but there was the company’s email in the instruction manual saying to reach out to them directly with any issues, I emailed them and got a response back within five hours, then four days later there was a new incubator on my front step. No hassle, no playing hide and seek trying to find the customer service section on Amazon, just simple and great customer service the way it should be. The incubators are working great so far, my only suggestion is to pick the manual option when hatching your eggs so that you can turn the temperature up to 101 as the thermostat is a few degrees lower then it reads.

Even with no reviews on this product, I bought this incubator when one of mine died. Went to set it up and noticed a gear broken off one of the rollers. I had enough eggs, that one roller less would have been ok. Started setting it up and found that the slots were broken out. Back in the box and returning it.

Seems to work but it doesn't quite fit 36 chicken eggs. More like 30

The Incubator came in it’s original Package . The Inkubator was working ok , but it took me 3 Days to get the humidity just right and I had to put tape over all the Holes . Overnight the humidity still droped to much.
