A wonderfully enchanting story, ready to capture the hearts of children once again. It s been a long, hot summer in the Moomin Valley. All of the creatures are becoming bored with the unchanging season until a volcanic eruption causes a major flood. As the Moomin family searches for refuge, they are rescued by a floating abandoned house. But this is no house, and it's definitely not abandoned. Occupied by the feisty Emma, the Moomin learn that the building is actually a theatre. With plenty of costumes and props to occupy their time, soon the family is engrossed in creating their own play the first ever Moomin stage production!

Perhaps it is a good film but the DVD does not play
Who knows. It seems to be a different production from the other Moomin movies. The DVD disk appears OK but could not play in the DVD player or the Computer DVD drive. Perhaps I got a faulty disk? Disk going back

Its a great DVD, lots of fun and lovely little creatures. I cant beleive someone actually left it negative feedback! Id suggest they dont watch childrens DVDs in future!It doesnt matter if accents were a bit odd or if the story didnt grip you, its entertainment for children or adults with a fun personality!

A great film, although a little dated and some of the voice actors are quite amusing! But this is an endearing addition to the Moomin collection and very well made for its time. It's sliced different parts of the old series' together I believe, but done so in a very cohesive fashion.

Got this for my daughter and found myself reminiscing about after school tv when I was growing up in the 1980s. 😊
