Sola Golden Wheat Bread, Non-GMO, 14 OZ Loaf (3 Pack)

I'm a bread junkie and I have been low carb for over a year and dropped 40lbs in doing so. I just recently found this bread and it is amazing. I'm not gaining any weight by eating this even if I have three or four pieces in one day. I typically try to limit myself to two pieces a day but sometimes toast in the morning sounds good and a sandwich later sounds better. I originally ordered the golden wheat from Amazon. Once I received it, I toasted it and had it with just butter. I realized instantly that I wanted to try the rest of the flavors. I then ordered the deliciously seeded, the sweet and buttery and the sweet oat directly from Sola. I also ordered two packs of their hamburger buns directly from Sola. I wanted to try the different breads without having to buy three at a time of the same kind, in case I didn't like the others. When you order directly from the Sola site they require you to buy at least two per order. You can at least mix a match the different bread types to meet the requirement per order. So far I like all of them. I think they taste like regular bread. They toast like regular bread , not super ,super crispy like toasted regular bread but more toasted with a little bit of chewiness , in a good way. They don't dry your mouth out like most low carb breads do. I have tried quite a few different low carb breads that people say 'taste like regular bread' and then I get them and I can't even swallow them they are so dry. These really do taste like regular bread to me. I would say my least favorite is the sweet buttery because it has a hint of sweetness but it is still good! I specifically got that one to make French toast with.I have tried all of these breads in the toaster with just butter (which has always been my addiction, toast with butter) and they taste great. Yes they are small but even breads like Dave's killer bread thin sliced is about the same size and it has three times the net carbs per slice than this bread has. And YES this bread is not cheap but I have learned if I can find something that will 'feed' the craving and keep my low carb lifestyle going, then it is worth it to me. This bread is amazing and if you're a toast chunky like myself you'll love it.I toasted it and put peanut butter on it and gave it to my husband and he couldn't tell the difference.I think the price is about the same whether you order from Amazon or directly from the sola website. You just get to mix and match the different bread types on the sola website. The other thing with this bread is the use erythritol which normally bothers my digestive tract but it is less than 2% of the ingredients listed in the bread. I have had no digestive issues with their bread or their hamburger buns. I will definitely buy again once my supply gets low. Definitely keep in mind the delivery time so you don't run out. I think it took about four business days to get to me. No issues with mold whether from Amazon or directly from Sola. I did notice the loafs from Sola were less squished than the ones from Amazon.

This bread is a little smaller than a regular bread slice but the benefits will have you look past that!! The flavor is right on point, i can't tell the difference between this and regular 100% whole wheat bread!! Everyone who has had this bread is astonished on how well it was done!! BREAD LOVERS WE CAN EAT BREAD AGAIN GUILT FREE THANKS SOLA...l madeca sandwich as soon as i received my order, then my daughter made one and after that she said wow we have a new bread!! I put my second order in for 3 more loafs and 4 packs of the hamburger rolls for the freezer to assure we never run out! Shipping give you a long dare but it cones really fast! It saud it will arrive in about 10 days and came in 4...The only downside is you can only get it online... 5 Star!!!!

I tried making homemade low carb bread and all of the recipes tasted like crap. I finally threw in the towel and bought this bread. It arrives fresh and is not smashed. The taste is pretty close to regular bread and the mouth feel is spot on. It makes pretty good toast as well. I would have given it 5 stars but the slices are a little small compared to traditional store bought bread and the price is outrageous. However, I have not been able to find anything less expensive with the same quality. I think I have purchased this bread regularly for about 2 years and I am so grateful to be able to eat sandwiches and toast again.

Update: I miss bread. I'm loving the low carb way of eating, but I have been craving bread forever. I've spent a small fortune trying to make low card bread. I've purchased various breads that were so dry I feared I'd need to be given i.v. fluids to recuperate from. Those breads actually scratched my throat and settled like a brillo pad in my gut. This bread is it. It's delicious and moist. It arrived promptly. Of all the ways I could have enjoyed my first slices, I slapped together a good old deli sandwich. I was in heaven. I immediately froze the rest, grabbed my computer, and placed another order.***Update. I have been low carb for over one year with great success. I did, however, hit a weight loss stall, about 6 months ago. I was losing inches, just not the pounds. This bread broke that stall. Eating it daily ( with fresh deli meat or Teddie Peanut Butter), I have lost 20 more pounds. This is what Sola has done for me.It has broken my compulsion to treat myself to fat bombs or other keto treats that require artificial sweeteners. Yes, this bread does use some, but not enough to knock me out of ketosis. ( I am pretty sure I am insulin resistant.)It has brought fiber back into my diet. I will confess, the first few days using it, I could barely make it to the bathroom. Very quickly, my body adjusted. The bread ceased acting as a colonic, but it has made me regular again. I'm shocked my belly bloat is melting away. So, I've kissed all artificial sweeteners to the curb ( save for that contained in 2 slices of Sola per day).I'm gobsmacked to discover I was eating under 25 carbs a day, yet sabotaging my success.Perhaps Sola can give you my results, too.
