Is this an assisted opening knife?

Yes. Thumb studs on both sides. No spine tab however. Easy to open one-handed, assuming you have thumbs! Spring pressure to open all the way to lock. Most assisted open knives have high spring pressure for about half the swing, and rely on momentum to reach lock.
