To work with POE your cameras have to be POE. But, you also can connect non POE devices on the GS108LP. In this case, since you have three different switches which do not let the signal through, we might kindly suggest you checking any requirement to use a hive hub with a switch. You may want to check with the hive community, as well.If you have any further questions, you can also check out our community at any time https://community.netgear.com/t5/English/ct-p/EnglishBest regards,NETGEAR Amazon UK **Q: Can i plug in 7 poe cameras and the 8th cable to a router?** A: You will need to check the power required by each camera, and compare that total with what the network switch will support (60 W with standard power supply). If they all have low power requirement (8 W or less) it should be OK, but I doubt that it would support 7 PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to Use *by A***N on 8 December 2022* Worked a treat allowed me to expand the POE network, highly recommend ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it says! *by E***N on 27 September 2026* I got this on a deal and I'm really happy with it's size, speeds are good and no loss of signal!
