Delivered early by several days. Thick cut high quality leather. Color of the leather was exactly as described. Firearm of course fit extraordinarily snug and was initially difficult to insert or extract from holster. Using the hot water method to mold, the holster to the intended firearm worked out perfectly. The holster now is easy to insert and draw from and fits the weapon as it should. This was a good deal for the price. It's a good looking holster and I love the idea of having the extra magazine pouch on the outside of the holster which I molded using the water method as well with the intended magazine. Be sure to use a Ziploc bag or some other waterproof method to protect your firearm when you insert it into the wet leather holster and leave it for at least 24 hours.

perfect if you live in a rural area & carry on your own property. The leather is stiff & high grade in my opinion

I wanted a leather holster for my Buck Mark, so thought I would give this one a try. At first I thought it was too tight, but leather molds to your gun so it has a nice fit after break-in.Likes- Inexpensive for the nice quality leather with good finish.- Western style waist belt loop which rides lower and makes it easier to reach the gun.- Good, snug fit after break-in. Break-in involved using it with the gun and stretching by hand at points that were too snug.- Open bottom that completely covered my 5.5" barrel with 1" flash suppressor added.Since it is open, it will allow a suppressor to stick out the end, if I get one later.Dislikes- leather edge runs the length of the holster and sticks down 1/8" on the inside top. My Buck Mark has a large front sight that rubs against it and I am concerned it might move/damage it. It is better now that it is broken in, but the seam did not have to be there.- magazine storage is worthless! The compartment is way too tight and will not fit a mag with the gun in the holster, and the strap is an eyesore and annoyance. I pulled the seams out of the flap and the holster looks pretty good without it! Without the mag storage compartment, I would have given this 5 stars!

Fits my Browning Buck Mark With 5.5" barrel perfectly. Nice finished leather and good fit.
