The amazon email didn't shed any specifics but merely stated "this is based on warranty issues, manufacturer restrictions, and Federal law, and as such, cannot be amended at the discretion of our Customer Service department" Strange that I could ship this to an amazon locker however (but none nearby are actuallly convenient) and I'll check home depot and see if they'll ship.
