Need to know
Works fine but attach wires one by one so you get them in all of the right places, you most likely will then install it upside down so the knob will be correct.

Saved Christmas (and my wallet)!
My 13-year-old Samsung range is a workhorse, but right before the holidays, the front "infinity" burner decided it only had two settings: Off and "Surface of the Sun." It wouldn't regulate the heat at all, which is a disaster for holiday cooking. I did some quick Googling and found out this is a super common failure for these switches. I almost had a heart attack when I saw the OEM Samsung part was over $150. At that price, I was debating just buying a whole new stove because usually when one switch goes, the others aren't far behind. I decided to gamble on this aftermarket one for less than $18, and I am so glad I did. The Install: It took about 30 minutes total. The hardest part was just getting the front control panel off (that's the "front plate thing" where the knobs live). Once that was off, swapping the actual switch was easy, just move the wires one by one from the old switch to the new one so you don't mix them up. The Result: My burner is back to behaving normally! It cycles on and off to hold a simmer instead of just blasting full heat 24/7. Christmas dinner was saved, and now I know I can replace all 5 burners for less than the cost of one OEM part if I need to. If your Samsung burner is stuck on high, try this before you buy a new stove!

It works, good price
This worked for me on a burner that was just uncontrollable before. This fit good on the connectors and the stovetop, and it was pretty easy to install. It seems to be ok quality and I hope it will last as long as I keep the stove. Everything functions correctly now, it's a good bargain for the low price. I like it

Let's play spot the difference
Second one of these I've ordered. Second one that has the switch rotated 180 degrees. Thought I'd try a different seller this time. Nope, doesn't matter.

Works well but terminals off by 180 dgrees
The switch works fine but the electrical connections are oriented in such a way that it was necessary to rotate the switch 180 degrees so the so that the switch turned off in the proper position. Fortunately the wires were long enough so I could do this.

Amazing product!
It was an excellent product. It fit on my GE APPLIANCES stove perfectly. It is a JB645RK9SS model.
