Position it right on your apple and press down, nice and slow. It will do the job and it will last long.

Functions well for a basic corer.
This kitchen gadget removes an apple core which was the point of the purchase. It is a sturdy little piece of equipment which is proving useful and does the job. The design is basic and wouldn't suit an elderly person as a lot of effort is needed to cut through the fruit and the handle is rather blunt and uncomfortable. (We have been using it with gala apples).
