Colorful Wolf Welcome Lights that Work Perfectly!
This set comes with everything you need to have 2 awesome welcome lights except batteries. And boy do they need batteries. 3 AAA in each! The description does state they need batteries and they're not included, so they should be docked stars for that. They're generic and work on any car so there's no way they're hardwired. I really appreciate that these were so well packed in the box: the sticky pads under where the projectors were snugly held in place by the foam so they wouldn't get lost, and the two magnets in their own little slot on the foam that even has finger holes to help you grab them out. Usage: They work really well (if you test where the magnet goes before installing!): turning on when you open the door and off when you close it. If you do leave the door open, they turn off after about 2 minutes, but it's still nice it saves battery by turning off when it senses the magnet. There is a button on them if you want them to be off, but it will go on again once it senses the magnet near it then away (see my video). To replace the batteries you do NOT need to remove the whole thing from the door. Simply slide the cover off by pulling right and replace the batteries. Honestly some reviewers... Please read directions if they come with them! Installing: They give you simple directions but it's pretty straightforward. Decide where you want the light the be on your door, figure out where it closes and make sure there's room to stick a magnet on the doorframe under the blank part of the projector labeled "sensor", then clean everything off and stick it on. Keep in mind where your feet will go when getting out of the car in a tight spot, because the wrong spot could make it a prime accidental kicking target. It tells you in the instructions the magnet has to be no more than 10 mm from the sensor, so again, test it before you stick it. I will note the small sticky pads are *slightly* larger than the magnets (see pic), but not that much and it's not really an issue. You can take the projector piece out if you buy multiple and want to swap images. It'd be cool if they just sold a big pack of various projector images so you didn't have to buy the whole door set just for a different image. Looks: I honestly really love the wolf design and the rainbow colors are fun. It's pretty bright too, especially considering my car doesn't have any kind of lights in the bottom of the door. I put electrical tape over the magnets because the silver really stuck out on the black trim (before and after pics included). Overall: This is a great little set of projector lights for your car. This listing gives multiple options for the design and it's only $13. Follow the directions, take your time installing, make sure you have 6 AAA batteries, and it'll be awesome! I highly recommend this set!

Cooler than expected
This projector light is a lot cooler-looking than I expected. It is bright and clear. It projects the picture clearly for a decent distance. The material does feel a little cheap, but it mounts in places where it won't get beaten up. It's unclear how long the battery will last. Hopefully, it's a long time, as I hate replacing batteries. Not being rechargeable is the only negative so far. Well, that and the provided adhesive. You will want a more powerful secondary adhesive, especially for the magnet since it mounts on the entry plate. It will get wet and possibly be stepped on or kicked. Installation is super easy. Just make sure to align and test the positioning of the light and magnet before permanent placement. An added bonus is that the projector design is removable. You can get different slides to change the projected picture and hot-swap them as you please. The price is very reasonable as well. Bottom line, these are a great little accessory to add some character to your vehicle. I highly recommend these projector lights.

Operates on batteries
These door lights project a cool image and they are bright. The issue is that they operton batteries. They each require 3 AAA batteries. These do not install in the OEM door light spot. They do not connect to the power from the vehicle. No thanks. They include adhesive strips to stick the light to the inside of the door. Remove and reapply every time the batteries need to be replaced. Might be a nice thing for an older vehicle that doesn't have a courtesy door light that fits today's modern replacements. Again, it's bright and well made. Seems like a fair price. Just not for me.
