Ordered a set of these for a shop CNC upgrade. Am pleasantly surprised with the rail uniformity and size. The bearing blocks are nothing special, but they are generic and can be replaced easily if needed. Will be purchasing another rail set for upgrading the y-axis.

This seems to be a good, solid assembly for a low price. I have not had the chance to install them yet but after cleaning and relubricating the blocks they operate smoothly by hand on the HGR rails. Ball oilers and plastic displacement slides are included so mounting on the guide rail is simple. These should have the size and rigidity needed for use in rebuilding my current round linear guide rails on a small CNC router, and hopefully they can improve the precision and reduce the deflection that is present. This particular kit seems to be rather impractical since the rails are 200 mm in length and 2 blocks are provided for each rail. Since the blocks are about 75 mm long, the effective maximum travel length is about 120 mm with just one block. Two blocks per rail makes little sense for short rails like this since it is unnecessary, and with ball oilers installed there would be essentially no travel distance left. However, I plan to purchase longer rails for my system. I am sure these are a long way from Hiwin equipment, but so is the price. I can’t know for sure until they are installed but these seem to be reasonably well made and I think they should work fine. If not I will edit this review later, but for now they seem to be pretty good.

An absolute tank of a linear rail system. I am using these for 3kg filament spools to make them a little more mobile while printing. Working very well for my application.

Work great. The holes are all lined up and square. Slides smooth. The guides feel study. No significant play in the guides. Overall pretty happy. There’s some cheaper options which all have bad reviews and issues. Happy to spend the extra few $ and get something that feels solid

The 'iMetrx HGR20 Linear Guide Rail Kit - 2 Pcs 200mm Rails + 4 Pcs HGH20CA Bearing Blocks' arrived in a set of boxes. I will first offer a caution and that is these parts are oiled so I would recommend taking suitable precautions. At the time of ordering and review this kit was priced at £39.99 which I consider to be very good value. The quality of the parts is to a high standard and when rolling the blocks on the track I encountered completely smooth movement. Although I have no specific plan for this set at present I do have a few ideas in mind, but I needed to know how good they were first before making a final decision.

First off, great quality in terms of both material and assembly. All pieces come slightly lubricated before hand, so make sure to wear gloves. A small note but the lubricant does have a very strong smell, so just beware (ask me how I know). Very fine fit of the bearing blocks with the rails, as they can easily free fall, with a little help. The bearings do spin smoothly and there is no audible scratching of any sort. My plan for these is moreso as a short camera dolly, which I feel will be great after a bit of adjustment. Cost is pretty good in my opinion, and it is really really smooth. The dimensions of the rail and the blocks are also very consistent.
