Fantastic Iconic Dive Watch
Amazing watch and represents fantastic value for money, the aqualand is a truely iconic dive watch that remains largely unchanged since the mid 80’s when it was originally released, it’s reliable, functional, and not like all the other dive watches out there, it wears a lot smaller than the dimensions suggest…highly recommend this watch.

Best value 'real' watch on the market
Negatives first, the strap is not great, unforgiving fit, hard Rubber material is stiff and unrubbery. I dare not do my usual elastic band round in a cup of boiling water trick as it will likely kill the rubber. Positives, The strap shape design compliments the huge standard size of 24mm by actually going wider, encompassing the Lug area, similar to PH500. Price is unbeatable 216 Depth Meter is unlikely to be used, I went swimming three days in a row and never looked at the depth. Stopwatch is handy, so too is the Alarm. Choice of Digital same or second time zone is nice, or Day Date on show. Fitment isn't great for me, it's okay but it's no scalloped Seiko (latest Seiko are not as comfortable as older designs though). The Altimeter lump on the side doesn't get in the way for me it's unnoticeable. It is a strap monster, but at 24mm who has many of those handy. Bargain price for a quality performance Watch, I've a few Pro master watches and this has the character of one of the good ones

NO YELLOW CYLINDER
Legendary watch however it does not come in the yellow cylinder and does not have the No deco limits strap. If those are important to you buy somewhere else. I just wanted the watch so well worth it at £246.

Truly iconic dive watch
Wanted one of these since I was a kid back in the 80s. Never going to replace my dive computer, but just for that retro cool factor, I love it. Just out of curiosity, I threw it in the pressure tester along with a modern dive computer, depth readings matched exactly, so its certainly accurate. But a limited number of dive logs (just 4) and quite small depth display, mean it's never going to compete with the modern equivalent. Included strap is a bit stiff and uncomfortable too, drop it on a good MN strap or a NATO/Zulu and you're good to go.

A quality watch with history
Well am I glad I finally took the plunge and bought this … absolutely love it! I have a few dive watches, DSSD, PO, SMP, Pelagos .. this new addition is in some very prestigious company and it fits in perfectly! Straight out of the box you can feel the quality on it, it looks fantastic, the size is perfect, it’s clearly legible, the iconic case design is instantly lovable and to top it of it hits the markers perfectly (which has been a problem for me with more expensive quartz watches that didn’t get to stay long) It didn’t take long for me to register the watch with Citizen for the extra 1 year warranty which now stands at an impressive 6 years, then onto the user manual which explains the multitude of features that aren’t going to be used by me but I no doubt will be talking the boys through down the pub sometime soon! This is a proper diver made for a purpose, and I would imagine it carries the job off perfectly. The strap that came with it .. not my thing so that’s been changed for a slightly less in your face silicone two piece. Great watch and a great price! Purchase of the year so far, don’t think about it .. get one!

I'm not convinced this is a true Citizen brand watch.
As nice as the watch is I'm not convinced it the true Citizen brand. It's not as refined as the same watch I purchased many years ago. Cheap strap which doesn't have the citizen logo on it.

Orologio epico

Citizen JP2000 - A Hardcore Dive Legend (That’s Not for Everyone)
The JP2000 is one of those rare watches that instantly feels like a proper tool the moment you put it on. It has that serious, no-nonsense dive-watch presence – chunky, purposeful, and absolutely bursting with character. The depth gauge, the classic Aqualand look, and the reassuring heft all give you the sense that this thing was built to do work, not just sit under a shirt cuff. On the wrist it feels solid and dependable, and every glance at the dial and depth scale is a reminder that this is a piece of real dive history you’re wearing, not just another fashion diver. In use, it’s brilliant: the legibility is great, the functions are genuinely useful if you dive or even just like having that techy, instrument-panel vibe on your wrist, and it oozes that old-school Promaster charm that newer designs often lack. It’s the kind of watch that makes you smile every time you strap it on, because it feels unique, over-engineered in the best way, and built to last years of abuse. That said, the JP2000 won’t be perfect for everyone. It’s big and tall, and some people will find it a bit too chunky for daily office wear. The design is unapologetically “tooly” – if you prefer slim, dressy, or minimalist pieces, this will probably feel like overkill. The analog-digital layout and extra functions mean a slightly steeper learning curve than a simple three-hander, and if you never dive or use the depth gauge, some of the magic might be lost on you. But if you do love robust, functional dive watches with real capability and tons of personality, the JP2000 is an absolute gem.
