Best-Selling Cleansing Balms Visit the Store Best-Selling Cleansing Balms Visit the Store Review: Hydrating Toner That Adds More Than Just Basic Moisture - I ordered this because I use a lot of active skincare, and when I’m regularly using things like retinoids, exfoliants, or stronger treatments, a drying cleanser can throw my skin off fast. Protecting my skin barrier has become a huge priority for me, so I’m always especially interested in gentler cleansing options that actually cleanse well but do not leave my skin feeling stripped. I already tend to really like milk cleansers for that reason, and this one immediately seemed like it fit exactly what I look for. After using this, I can say this leans heavily into that soft, comforting cleanse category. The texture feels creamy and cushiony on my skin, and it has more of that nourishing, hydrating feel I personally want when my skin is already dealing with a lot from other active products. Instead of that squeaky-clean feeling some cleansers leave behind, my skin feels softer, calmer, and noticeably more comfortable afterward. What really stood out for me is how well it cleanses while still feeling gentle. For everyday sunscreen, light makeup, or just a morning cleanse, this has worked really nicely for me. My skin feels clean, but not tight, and that balance can be surprisingly hard to find. I especially like this on days when my skin feels a little more sensitized or when I’m trying to be extra cautious about over-cleansing. The hydrating side is probably my favorite part. Between the milk cleanser format and the soothing ingredients like centella, this feels much more supportive than a lot of standard cleansers I’ve tried. My skin feels refreshed, but also like it kept its moisture better, which matters a lot to me since dryness can spiral pretty quickly when I overdo stronger skincare. The scent is something to note since it does have fragrance, and while I personally did not find it overwhelming, those with very fragrance-sensitive skin may want to pay attention to that. Bottom line, this has been a really nice fit for my barrier-protective routine. If your skin is dry, sensitive, or you’re also using a lot of actives and trying to avoid that stripped feeling, this feels like a genuinely comforting cleansing option that prioritizes softness and hydration. Review: Great, gentle cleanser for sensitive or reactive skin - I’ve always struggled to find a cleanser that actually removes everything without wrecking my skin barrier, and this one finally nailed it. I use tretinoin and azaelic acid on a daily basis, so it's important to me that my cleanser isn't stripping my already sensitive skin. First off, the texture is so nice. It’s a soft, cushiony milk that feels super gentle to apply, and it spreads easily without tugging at your skin. I use it mostly at night to remove sunscreen and light makeup, and it melts everything off without any harsh rubbing. My skin feels clean but still comfortable, not tight or squeaky like some other cleansers have left it. The oat and rice protein combo is a huge win. My skin tends to get dry and reactive, especially after trying new products, and this actually makes it feel more nourished while I’m cleansing. Plus, the centella asiatica is super calming. I’ve noticed way less redness after washing my face, which is rare for me. Another thing I love is that it rinses off easily with just water. There is no weird residue and no film left on my face, and I don’t feel like I have to go in with a second cleanser unless I’m wearing heavier makeup. This cleanser has become my go-to for both morning and night when my skin needs a break. If your barrier is even a little fragile or your skin gets irritated easily, this is 100% worth giving a try, especially at the sale price.

Soothing Formula, Just Wish It Was Less Fragrant!
I’ve been really enjoying the BANILA CO Clean It Zero Calming Cleansing Milk and give it a solid 4 stars. It feels incredibly gentle on the skin, making it perfect for both morning and nighttime use. I have sensitive skin, and so far it hasn’t caused any breakouts, even after a few days of use. The milky texture is lightweight, and easy to work with. I take an appropriate amount onto dry hands, massage it gently over dry skin for about a minute, and then rinse with lukewarm water. It effectively cleanses my skin, removing everyday dirt and light makeup while keeping my skin soft, hydrated, and balanced. It leaves my skin feeling clean without that tight, stripped feeling. I also love that it’s formulated with Centella Asiatica Leaf Water—it helps soothe and comfort my skin, especially when it feels a little irritated. I’ve also noticed my skin feels more hydrated and balanced, and over time it seems to support a stronger, healthier skin barrier. It’s gentle enough for daily AM & PM use, which I really appreciate. I did knock off one star because the fragrance is a bit strong for my liking. If you’re sensitive to scents, that’s something to keep in mind…but overall, it’s still a great calming cleanser and I highly recommend it.

Banila Co Does It Again
Normally $18.99, but on sale for only $13 and some change, as I type this review, this gentle cleanser is a winner I would definitely recommend. Here is what I loved: - easy to use packaging, with a simple pump design that comes with a handy spacer should you need to travel with it to avoid spilling out - little to no scent/scent is subtle - gentle formula that will not irritate your skin (I am eczema prone and it did not break me out in a rash) - generous bottle size that is sure to last you a long time - the formula is gentle enough to not dry your skin out/I did not experience drying - my skin appeared radiant/glowy after usage - good price especially when on sale - effectively removed excess dirt (did not try with makeup on, though) for refreshed skin All in all a good, gentle milk cleanser. With Banila Co's positive reputation they continue to successfully create reliable and likeable products I can stand behind. I would recommend this cleanser.

Gentle and Effective, Mildly Scented
I really enjoy my morning cleanse with the Clean It Calming Milk from BANILA CO. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin, but it’s nice to give my face a break from harsher cleansers that leave it feeling stripped and desperate for moisturizer. With this one, my skin feels soft, hydrated, and smooth - I didn’t feel the need to rush for my morning face oil afterward. The texture is a little unusual at first. It feels like applying a rich, milky lotion to dry skin rather than a typical liquid or clear cleanser. It goes on thick, doesn’t foam much, and can take a bit more effort to rinse off. Still, in this case, being different is a good thing - the oat and rice proteins are gentle yet effective and the way my skin felt was undeniably clear and fresh. Overall, it’s a great value whether you have sensitive skin or simply want to treat your face to a soothing, glow-boosting, hydration intense cleanse.

Unsure about effectiveness
I was confused by the name of this product. I assumed (correctly) that its a gentle cleanser that removes residue, makeup etc. It is very gentle on the skin, so gentle that I wasn't sure if anything was cleaned?! I've used it twice so far and I think its too mild to be called a cleanser. It leaves a moisturizer like residue on the skin that some might find please but I didn't care for it. I'm unsure about efficacy but I'm willing to use it a few more times on the chance that my mind changes. Pricing is fine.

Gently Cleanser - Does Not Strip the Skin
Clean It Zero Calming Cleansing Milk, Vegan Cleanser. This cleanser is in a pump dispenser for ease of use. The cleanser is gentle contains Centalla Asiatica Leaf Water which might be part of the calming ingredients. I love Centella and frequently use it in my skincare routine. This feels gentle and I might switch intermittently between this and my regular cleanser. I still need to use my oil cleanser first to remove my mineral sunscreen. There’s a mild scent that does not linger. Overall it’s a gentle cleanser and does not strip the skin. I apply moisturizer immediately after cleansing so I cannot tell if it’s moisturizing but It’s not drying my skin.

Gentle, Hydrating Cleanse From a Favorite K-Beauty Brand
BANILA CO has been one of my favorite K-beauty cleansing brands for years, especially their Clean It Zero cleansing balms, so I was excited to try this Calming Cleansing Milk. This is my first time using a different type of cleanser from the brand, and so far it has worked really well for my sensitive combination skin. The texture feels soft and comforting, and it removes daily makeup and sunscreen without leaving my face tight or stripped. My skin feels clean, but still hydrated, which is exactly what I look for in a barrier-friendly cleanser. This is gentle enough yet cleanse my skin well. I did notice that the formula contains a few ingredients that could potentially bother extremely sensitive skin, so that is worth keeping in mind. Personally, I have not experienced any redness, stinging, or irritation. Instead, my skin feels soft, calm, and balanced after using it. The price also feels reasonable for the size and quality. Overall, this has been a lovely addition to my routine.
