It does take time getting use to the controls. I recommend not overfilling it, since that can make it harder to grab items. It comes with 10 plush toys and 10 surprise eggs. You can fill the surprise eggs with candy, small toys, or other treats to turn it into a candy vending machine, perfect for birthday parties or a classroom setting. I’m planning to use it as a fun and interactive way to work on handwriting by filling the surprise eggs with sentences for students to copy. The claw machine feels well built, plays music, and is definitely an exciting addition for kids.

Please don’t buy this item. It is not even worth the money. very disappointing.

Granted, full-sized arcade claw machines are often ripoff, but there's an element of skill that makes me seek out and use them. My 4-year-old also has a healthy appreciation of claw machines, probably because of Toy Story. I got this for both of us, at least for its novelty, and it is pretty fun to use. I only wish the claw could reach every square inch of the platform instead only along a sweeping arced path. Still, it's easy to setup, easy to learn, comes with an assortment of tiny stuffed animal prices, and plays different arcade songs. I'd recommend it for what it is: A fun toy.
