He gave one pull in excitement as he saw a bunny (he is not a big puller either) we were on the road that thank God was not that busy the leash snapped and he ran after the bunny. Had a car been coming or he had not been old and slow the bunny or he may have been killed. The leather gave away right at the rivet. The leash had only been used twice before because I had misplaced it. The thread that is used in the leash is very poor and has become separated from the leather. My dog is 47lbs, is obedience trained and does not pull. The fault is the poor thread, not because of my dog or improper care. This leash should have lasted longer than 5 months use. My rating dropped from 5 stars to 1 star because it should have better thread and stitching. Don’t waste your money on this product.
