Material and quality is what I expected from Montane. The fit is athletic, so it may force me to loose a few pounds.

Excellent design, materials and construction.
I got this jacket some time ago from Amazons global store at an absolute bargain price and even though it was flown from the USA it was still delivered within a week, Although I have used it several times in light rain I have been waiting for some really foul weather before posting a review. This morning brought some real Autumn weather to the North East with some blustery winds and moderately heavy rain.Pros,Typical Montane (i.e. very accurate) fit and as always consistent sizing.Light but well featured e.g. 3 external pockets (2 very large, which also act as vents and one smaller chest pocket).Excellent hood with wired peak.Waterproof zips: main zip and all pockets.Velcro cuffs with wide range of adjustment.After about 3 hours I was completely dry and there was no sign of any condensation on the inside so presumably the Pertex membrane is very breathable.ConsNo internal pocket.No 2 way zip.Fairly expensive at full price, but this is a very good quality 3 layer rain jacket and despite being light I have always found Montane to be very durable.

definitely keep the water out when for a hike in Snowdonia rained constantly for 5 hours keep me dry only downside purchased my usual size large too tight went for X L

Tolle Jacke!
Tolle Jacke! Der Stoff ist sehr wertig und die Jacke sehr gut verarbeitet! Sehr schönes blau; Reisverschlüsse funktionieren sehr gut. Passt im Schulter und Brustbereich gut mit ausreichend Bewegungsfreiheit. An der Hüfte ist sie etwas eng und - für meinen Geschmack als Regenjacke - vielleicht (!!) ein paar cm zu kurz (was aber Geschmackssache ist). Ärmel sind ausreichend lang.
