Product Description Thanks to Campbell hausfeld’s general purpose spray gun, painting doesn't get much easier or faster. Able to tackle all of your home, farm and commercial painting needs, this spray gun can conveniently handle all paints and materials. And speaking of convenience, the spray gun can be converted from pressure to siphon feed and internal or external mix air caps. Changing it from siphon to pressure feed only requires the twist of a knob. That's it! the conversions don't stop there either: the spray gun can be converted so you can use it with a separate pressure paint tank; and you can even convert it from non-bleeder to bleeder style, allowing you to use it with standard or tankless air compressors. There’s also a pattern control feature that adjusts Fan size for truly improved results. Campbell hausfeld’s general purpose spray gun nicely works in conjunction with paint tanks and remote canisters, includes a fluid canister, has a 4.3 average SCFM requirement at 90 psi, and a ¼-inch male NPS air inlet. Those old brushes and rollers are looking pretty useless right about now. From the Manufacturer Adaptable to a wide range of applications, the Campbell Hausfeld DH5300 1-Quart General Purpose HVLP Spray Gun adjusts from siphon to pressure-feed with the twist of a knob, making it compatible with a variety of materials. It features pattern control, to adjust fan pattern size, and is convertible from a non-bleeder to a bleeder style for use with standard or tankless air compressors. The DH5300 works with paint tanks or remote canisters for tough-to-reach areas. It includes 1/4-inch male NPS air inlet and operates at 4.3 average scfm at 40 PSI.

Does the job
The gun did the job....I was able to paint my shutters with latex house paint right from the bucket.....That's all I wanted it to do. It's not a five hundred dollar gun and I'm not a professional painter but I took my time, read the directions and got it done with two good coats....the shutters look like new...I also used a small portable tank compressor so for me I took it to its outer limits but it still did the job...

General Purpose spray gun
I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this spray gun.(has both pressure and siphon features with an easy switch knob). I previously had a Binks model 35 that was just super but now discontinued.I replaced it with a Binks Model 25 that lasted one spray session. I recently sprayed acrylic enamel with this gun and it worked flawlessly. This gun hopefully will spray latex and most liquids. The nice thing about Campbell Hausfield is that on their web page you can purchase individual parts or parts kits. I purchased a O ring gasket kit for $15.00. After using and while cleaning this gun I discovered a broken seal. I called CH and they sent a replacement part immediately. So I give a A for both Amazon and CH.

Gravity fed is so much better
This...is old school. The gravity fed guns are so much easier to use and give much better results. I chose this due to sold construction and something I was familiar with. Once I tried a gravity fed gun, this became the primer gun and something for non critical work. I will never go back.

Not impressed
Sometimes the gun sprays real light, other times it starts to clump the paint. I always had to angle the gun upwards for it to spray the paint. If I held the gun level or at a downward angle, it would only be air coming out. Spend a little more and buy a reliable sprayer.

Very good sprayer
Works as advertised. Much better for small projects than the airless sprayer I was using. Clean-up is a snap after use, with very little wasted paint.
