The wall mount was easy to install and provides good range of motion to position the tv how you need. It’s a little heavier than I expected for a product made to go in an RV, but it works great and is very sturdy. It locks in place which is a great feature when you are driving down the road. Even though it does lock in place there is a slight wobble to the tv, but I don’t believe it is enough to cause any issues. Overall, great purchase and one of the best RV wall mounts I could find.

Very well built! We chose this wall mount due to it locks to wall when traveling. We used this in our RV (5th wheel) to replace a smaller bracket with different TV. Wall mount comes with a large assortment of mounting screws for attaching to TV. We chose this one for its latching mechanism. As another review mentioned, we added a couple of rubber door stops at each corner of tv to prevent side to side movement when traveling. Not a deal breaker or negative just what we needed to do. Easy to put together and has a large bracket for mounting on wall. Should work for a long time and we are satisfied!

I purchased this unit to install a 32" TV into bedroom of camper. The unit comes with five, 3/16" lag bolts and the corresponding sheet rock plastic inserts. Overkill for my application. Instead, I purchased #14-16 inserts and the matching screws 1 1/2 long. Once installed unit stays closed going down the road and when in camp, the 32" TV can be exstened and swiveled to 90 degrees. Now the "Queen Bee" can watch TV in any position in bed. Perfect fit, excellent quality and the "one who must be obeyed is happy".

Thanks to all of you reporting on the release string breaking. I put a fishing line on, for a back up, just in case. Immediately after installing the fishing line I proceeded with the installation and the release string broke at the union of the thicker string and the skinny one. TV not mounted yet. Bracket not mounted. Still on the floor???? If you, like me, have to be exact right to left and up and down, good luck. I built a small platform to hold it so my needs could be accomplished. Centered over fireplace and enough room for a center speaker in our motor home. And the easy removal of the tv bracket??? Get your 10mm out to loosen two nuts and remove one bolt. It then comes off easily- - going back on is a different story, lining up the connection had some challenges. I am 74 years old and it would have been easier with some help. For your benefit have some help handy, just someone in back to help line up the tv bracket portion. Now installed it works as it should, maybe articulates too much for a mh. When locked into place it does shake a bit, twin latches would have been better. Have not driven down the road yet, hope it stays latched. The mount seems to be of good quality and the price is fair if it doesn’t shake loose. Would have paid the extra dime for a better release strap.

Product is fine. Works as advertised. Customer service is very good. I purchased my unit a couple years ago and wanted to relocate it this week. I emailed Mount-It requesting a copy of the manual and they sent it the same day. They are a real company with real customer service people!! Very refreshing.

This looks like a quality TV bracket, and it locks, perfect for RV mounting. However, it is way too much bracket, and it's pretty heavy, for hanging my 6-pound 24" TV in my RV bedroom. So, I am going to have to return it. I wish they would have included the bracket weight, but I can't it in the posting. Don't get me wrong, it looks like a great bracket, and it will support up to a 77-pound TV.

This product is marketed for RV use. The instructions say it should only be mounted onto a concrete or brick wall. The two statements are not compatible. That said, I mounted the wall mount in my motorhome onto a very sturdy wall consisting of two 3/4" sheets of plywood. I upsized the mounting bolts from 1/4" to 3/8" and predrilled for 1-3/4" depth being extra careful to not drill too deep and into my bathroom wall! The five lag bolts gripped very well into this substrate. The TV mount itself is quite weighty and strong. It is now holding my 70# TV without any issue. I intend to block the TV using dense foam blocks to keep the TV from bouncing too much while we travel. I'll place the blocks between the back of the TV and the wall it's mounted on. The blocks will also keep the TV from drooping down on its +/- 3 degree adjustable pivot point. I've tightened this pivot as much as I can and it doesn't feel like it will tolerate bounding down the road without drooping unless I reinforce it from below and behind with some blocking. Overall, I think this TV mount is sturdy enough to do the job with a little additional, creative, travel support. We'll never be extending the TV for viewing angle adjustment but rather just to access the rear of the TV when making changes to the inputs/outputs. The original RV manufacturers approach was to solidly mount the TV to the wall using screws witch, while working okay, left us no reasonable to access the rear of the TV.

The pull string broke on the first use! It mounted okay in my RV but you do need to get your own mounting screws as the ones provided are two long for most RV trailers. It is also hard to level once the TV is installed and impossible after the pull sting breaks.

it's well built, the only problem it's the lock, gets stuck and pulled the lanyard broken as there is a design problem with it. I used it to mount a 24'' monitor for security system in the kitchen.

Easy to install Seems strong, easily maneuvered for viewing.

Very easy to install would buy it again for sure.
