Slightly large, but works for ringneck doves!
I have a pair of ringneck doves that I needed ceramic eggs for (or they'll raise babies non-stop!). I read some reviews saying they were too big and the birds rejected them, but I took the chance anyway. When I first swapped one with a real egg my female was a little suspicious of it for about a half hour, but accepted it and has been sitting on two of them for the past week with no issues. They are just a little bit bigger than a ringneck dove egg, but close enough. Give them a chance!

Good fake chicken eggs!!
Just what I needed to keep my chickens laying eggs in the nest boxes. I can leave a fake one in the nest always and pull the fresh ones to eat!! Perfect!

Not quail egg size
These eggs are almost as big as my ring neck doves, more like a chicken egg than a quail egg. Will not work for doves.

PERFECT size for micro & other Seramas
ADORABLE! The white isn’t too bright & is a real eggshell white. Also looks the right texture of real eggs & not a manufactured “too smooth” surface like plastic eggs look. Not too heavy but don’t feel hollow either. Just right. Same size as my Serama hen’s real eggs & loving that since no one sells fake Serama eggs & it’s a guessing game trying to find the right size fakes. The weight seems evenly distributed through out the fake egg & they do indeed appear to be real. I’m quite sure my girls will take to these without hesitation. I may need to put a dot on these to tell them from any eggs my girls may add to the nest box so I know which is which w/o handling the eggs & disturbing the hens. I’m hoping to teach my girls where I want them to lay their eggs w/ these fakes.

Perfect For Old English Game Bantams
I was skeptical about purchasing these at first, due to the eggs being about half the size of a bantam egg. But after placing one in each of my pullets egg boxes they worked great, and trained / encouraged them to lay in the boxes after about a week! Size did not matter!

Not even close to Diamond dove egg
Great quality for a dummy egg however triple the size of a diamond dove egg. Too big for her to sit on two of those, not slightly larger as indicated by previous comments. Tried to add a picture, but it won't let me.

Smaller than Homer Eggs - Photo for Size Reference
I don't typically leave reviews, but I wanted to add to the real vs. fake comparison egg images to show one of these next to a racing pigeon egg for anyone that needs the reference. The larger egg on the right is a from a homer, the one on the left is one of these fake ones.

Durable Eggs
These eggs are probably better suited for quails as a decoy. I placed them in with my bantams to see if they would start laying near the ceramic eggs. The bantams pecked at them seeing that the size was smaller than their typical egg. They eventually laid eggs nearby, and have since lost interest in pecking.
