First off the quality of the cables is excellent. They eliminated all hum that I was getting from my old cheapie cables. The reason for the three stars is the length of the cables aren't even close to what I ordered. I ordered 8" cables, but they're closer to 10.5". These are longer cables than a wanted - 25% too long. My pedal board is needlessly cluttered as a result.<Edit> after reading up a bit more on cables it looks like different manufacturers measure length differently. I had assumed length was measured tip to tip. It looks like these are actually measured by the cable length, which is 8.25". Bit by the time you include the additional length of the connectors you're over 10". So I'm bumping the score up to 4 stars, but the description should be more specific about how length is determined. I wouldn't have purchased these if I knew.

I've gone through hundreds of cables of all kinds but never had the need for such small patches. It's sometimes tough to seperate the good from the bad on Amazon but this time I hit the jackpot! These are very well made, solid, attractive, and fairly priced. Gold plating and hefty guage copper pass a signal with very little resistance. I use them to chain my effects and was so impressed that I immediately ordered more after I received my first order. This seller is also great to deal with--I had my order in 3 days with no incident. If you use patches like these buy as many as you can!

These are the best cables for the money, and better than those costing 2-3 times as much. Good choice of lengths. Very flexible and not-tangling. Quiet and good connection plug. Use these Monoprice cables for every connection on my pedal board, to/from the effects loop for bank 2 & to the amp as well

Well made. Quiet and a good length. I find 6" too short sometimes.

I frantically scoured through my signal chain to find the source of my extra buzziness and after testing 10 other options I found that it was this cable! Looks nice and feels sturdy, but does not last long. Skip this one; you deserve better.

Received item on time and it's exactly as described. Appears to be of good quality for being made in China. Would buy again or recommend.
