Two little pieces of metal you can't do without...
You can practically lay the two cable ends you are trying to connect side-by-side and they would work! Am I right? But these little gizmos are what you need to keep the neighbor from trying to splice into your your paid cable subscription. Or at least slow him down until you can get out there to check on the static you're seeing on your tube. Good things to have.

AS I STATED POUR QUALITY, LITTLE WEIGHT CONNECTORS. THE CENTER TERMINAL IS DIFFICULT TO EXCEPT IN RG6 CONDUCTOR IN THE FIRST TIME INSERTING THEN FEELS LOOSE ( NOT A GOOD CONNECTION ) WILL USE A DIFFERENT CONNECTOR NEXT TIME AND MAY CHANGE THESE OUT. !
