The best earplugs money can buy.
These earplugs are awesome. I am writing this review after 1 day of night use of these earplugs. Here's what I would like to share:-Procedure and Method off inserting the earplugs correctly:- Clean your hands before you use these earplugs. Afterwards, take one earplug in your hand. You have to then apply pressure on it with your fingers and thumbs evenly by rolling it and shrinking it to the size of a cylinder or a bullet. Take care while rolling and shrinking it. Do not apply too much pressure while rolling or else creases or wrinkles might form on the earplug, which can decrease it's sound blocking efficacy, instead press slowly and carefully till it forms the desired cylinder/bullet shape. After the desired shape is formed, immediately lift the top of your ear to enlarge the inner opening of your ear and insert and push the earplug into the ear deep down but slowly. If you only insert the earplug halfway or only a little bit then it will not be able to do it's job properly, so push the earplug deep and subsequently hold the earplug from the outside for a minute. By holding the earplug in this position, it allows the earplug to inflate itself inside the ear canal and totally seal it from the inside to block the outside noses effectively. Follow this same process for inserting the second earplug too. Insert the earplugs one at a time. Remember, once the desired shape is formed after pressing and rolling the earplug, without wasting a second, immediately insert it in the ear or else it will start inflating once again in your hand.Sound blocking efficacy:- I kept these earplugs in my ears for the whole night. They are very soft and after inserting them in the ears, it didn't feel too heavy or irritating. With passing time, I am pretty sure, I will get used to them, having them inside my ears. After inserting the earplugs, all outside noises were blocked by almost 90 to 95%. I could barely hear the blaring noises outside my house which falls on a busy road. Inside my room, I couldn't hear the humming noise of my air conditioner. My spouse snores at night in a medium range. Being a light sleeper, I used to wake up due to this snoring noise but after putting these earplugs, approximately 85% of the snoring noise got blocked. What I heard was a very faint and negligible snoring noise and that too got completely blocked when I slept on my sideways. Basically, I am a sideways sleeper and this helped me too. I woke up in the morning feeling refreshed and all I could do is to thank these wonderful earplugs for doing it's job perfectly.Procedure for taking out the earplugs from the ears:- While taking out these earplugs from your ears, make sure that you don't pull them out directly and rapidly or else you may damage your ears. Instead, take them out by twisting and turning them slowly. Once they are out, put them in a seperate sealed small container. Do not put them in the plastic container in which you received them or else they will get mixed with the other unused earplugs. As per what I have researched, one pair of these earplugs will last for atleast 5 to 6 uses which makes them economical.Precautions:- 1) After you take out one pair from the packed plastic container for use, reseal the container properly with the foil provided and close the cap of the plastic container tightly so as to not let air pass inside the container or else the unused earplugs inside might get spoiled. 2) After using the earplugs, do not wash them with water or any other liquid or try to clean them in any way. Just put them seperately in a small, sealed container meant only for storing them. 3) once you feel that the noises are not getting blocked well and the earplugs are not holding tight inside the ears and are falling off continuously even after inserting them properly, then it's time to take out a new pair for use.In all, personally I feel that these earplugs by Mack's are the best ones amongst the lot. Always use these ultrasoft earplugs only as they are very soft and hence it doesn't hurt or irritate your ears.PS:- If you don't follow the correct method of inserting these earplugs into your ears then you will not get the desired result and then you will end up in only criticizing the earplugs for it's non performance, so kindly follow the method as shown by me above. You can also find these instructions on the label of the plastic container in which these earplugs are packed.I hope this information will help everyone who want to buy good earplugs.Regards.

Super against self-centered, noisy neighbours
I’ve used the 3M ear plugs for several years Both for sleeping and during the day when I need to muffle general noise. Recently, I had the misfortune of getting neighbours who do not understand the need for silence at night and the 3M ones didn’t block out their night noises. These Definitely do though!!It blocks out way more noise than the 3M ear plugs. It will not block loud noises like pressure cooker whistles or slamming doors but those will be muffled somewhat.I know ear plugs can be used a few times before needing to discard them. But I’ve found that the best level of noise blocking occurs only when it’s a new pair. Subsequent use of the same pair markedly reduces noise blocking, at least for me. So I use a new pair each night. That’s not very cost effective but it’s cheaper than moving and way easier than trying to drum some sense into inconsiderate people.Speaking of cost, it is definitely quite expensive. Three times the cost of the 3M ear plugs but they are also 3 times better and you get what you pay for. I bought the box for 1500 and I would buy again at that price.Note that if you don’t insert it properly, you’ll feel like it isn’t working. You must learn how to get it right. Instructions are on the bottle.I love these ear plugs and they are a godsend for anyone who wants some peace and quiet. Like another reviewer said, in a noisy country like ours, it’s a must have.

Good stuff
Its hard to get them properly fit. Reduces the irritating noises for sure. But I personally want something even more stronger. I think it cuts the more sharp and loud noises and not as much ones closer to you. So it is good for work noise reduction but not perfect for sleep in some cases.Hard to put them on. I only got it right and perfect one time so far. Rest all occasions was not good. But from that one time I realised this can work if just done right.Lastly, its super expensive for India market. But it is reasonable and I realised my box can last a year !My use case was to put them during afternoon naps or morning naps when its noisy and kids are playing as I do night shift and need to sleep in the day.

Essentials for the noisy world we live in
I can sleep peacefully at night, or during the day. I can workout peacefully in the gym without any background noise or music as distractions. I can focus at work and be able to work distraction free in the office. These earplugs have changed my life drastically and I can’t recommend them enough.

Effective, comfortable and durable earplugs
They are super soft and also very effective in blocking out noise.Other brands were causing ear ache after using them every njght for mkre than a month.I have been using this brand every night since a year and they are quite comfortable. Each pair lasts atleast 3-4 weeks compared to others which used to last only 2 weeks, so I did not find it to be expensive.

Not effective.
I purchased these earplugs for blocking external sounds, these earplugs are comfortable, but does not block any sound. only low level of sound reduction. Very disappointed, waste of money.

Not too good, not too bad; great VFP but no match for EAR Classic
I’ve been using earplugs for 25+ years, so I should know: These earplugs (Mack’s) are great value for money but.. OK, let’s see:Pros: (a) High noise cancellation when you push them all the way in (b) Contoured, so it’s easy to push them inCons: (a) Even though the material is soft, they press *way* too hard against the ear canal if you get them all the way in!! (b) If you try, say, inserting only half and a bit, the noise cancellation drops drastically. (c) The material is *smooth* on the outside, which shouldn’t ideally be the case; what happens is they “stick” to your ear—so you need to be really careful and slow when you’re pulling them out. (d) The plus in the pack of 50 are not consistent; you might pick two and they’ll be fine—and the next two will be too tight or uncomfortable or something like that.On the whole, a great buy *depending on* the sensitivity of your ear canal and the level of noise cancellation you need—so until you try them, you won’t know if your money is being well spent. For some people, these might be too uncomfortable; other people will do just fine with lower-noise-cancellation earplugs. My take? There’s no beating E-A-R Classic. I used them for a couple of decades before my stock ran out; I bought these just because they’re contoured, but... the contouring doesn’t seem to help.

Best ear plugs
These are some of the best earplugs I've ever used. They’re incredibly soft and comfortable — I often forget I’m even wearing them. Even when sleeping on my side, they don't cause any pressure or discomfort. They block out noise very well, making them perfect for anyone who needs a quiet environment to sleep. They stay effective for at least 5 uses, sometimes more. If you get the 50-piece package, it's an excellent deal — much more cost-effective than buying smaller packs. Highly recommended!

Mack’s is the only brand you should buy from when it comes to anything ears
I love these. These are the only reason I’m able to sleep. I tried the silicone ones but they make me nauseous and it gets very dirty and it bothers me. I tried the slim fit ones but they didn’t really suit my ear canals. These ones are the best. True super soft and will muffle even the heavy sounds. Will not hurt your ears (you will feel slight pressure but it’s not uncomfortable at all. Generic ones bruised my ears). You have to make sure it goes in the ear canals though for it to work otherwise it won’t do anything/as much. At first wouldn’t go into my ear canal fully it took me a week/10 days to understand how to fit it in my ears (ear canals are curved and unique to everyone). Fit is super super comfortable and soft. Each pair lasts about like 4-5 days. After that even if you wear it deep in your ear canal it won’t muffle any sound. Learnt it hard way. The box has enough to last about 5-6 months (when changed around 4 days). Also wouldn’t recommend putting it in small tight box (I used my old lip balm tin to store it) because if you keep it compressed it will lose its ability to expand and block sound. Overall very early roll and mould and carry.
