Great little small space heater
A great little heater. It is small, but that was our choice as it was for a camper van(with electric hook up), For its size it is very efficient and economical. It puts out enough heat to take the chill off of a small area easily but would not be suitable for large spaces. It is great for the camper or maybe a caravan, a cloak room or to taking the chill of a small room. It is a good design, slim. stable and the thermostat is reliable. It has a red indicator light. Delivery was swift, packaging good and for the price it beats some of its more expensive competition. I am thinking of getting a second one! Recommended.

Superb energy-efficient, economic little bathroom heater
To be honest, when the package arrived it seemed impossibly small and light (I was expecting it to be a fair bit larger!) so I wasn't holding out much hope for it. I live in a flat with a bathroom that is eternally afflicted by problems with damp, and no source of heating apart from a dilapidated 2000w blow heater which takes about an hour to heat a 7' x 7' bathroom. I've tried to eliminate the mould produced using premium anti-mould paints from a leading supplier (but in spite of what their ads profess, they don't do exactly what they say on the tin! Not in this case anyway!). The mould kept coming back, the main problem being the lack of warmth in the bathroom. I installed this heater a week ago, and am honestly bowled over by how warm the bathroom is, all from such a small 400w heater. It seems to have stopped the mould in its tracks, and there's no signs of condensation in the bathroom. I have a similar problem with an exterior bedroom wall elsewhere in the flat, and will be looking at purchasing the 1000w version for installation at the offending wall. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, it's very reasonably priced, efficient and extremely economic to run. Really can't fault it at all!

Perfect for students/elderly on a budget to keep warm with in the Winter
Got this for my younger brother for his house at university because he was concerned about bills but also battling against a cold house last month. With winter coming as well I decided to get this for him as an early Xmas present and as he is on a budget. I was unsure at first of what to expect with the size of it being so small and the cost being quite low, but this little heater really belts some heat out. My brother has quite a big bedroom and it heats that room he says to the point where he has turned it off in the night for being too warm, in a room that was before...freezing cold at night. This heater doubles as either a free standing portable heater or you can hook it to the wall and it's like an extra small radiator. The best thing though is that it costs 6p per hour to run which for the amount of heat it gives off is superb and perfect for people on a budget to keep warm with. Excellent product.

Does nothing!
Completely ineffectual! I bought two of these as a temporary stop-gap during cold snap as central heating had been off due to building works. The unit heats up perfectly well, but does not radiate heat at all and made no difference to even the smallest room in the house.

It is more like a toy radiator
First off this thing is tiny. The pics are deceptive. It is more like a toy radiator. After putting the fiddly feet on it and powering it up a lot of smoke rises out. I thought, ok that's just some kind of protective coating burning off and I think it was because after a few minutes it stopped smoking. The manual states that nothing should be above or around it for 3 feet which is annoying as this is a small space heater! Small spaces do not have 3 spare feet of nothing so beware of that if considering for a bathroom or caravan. However, the little heater kicks out a steady flow of heat and warmed up a 13 foot square room rather quickly and of course cheaply as it is only 400w. After all that you would think I didn't like it but I do, it warms up quick so does the job I wanted it to do.

Great until it stopped working after 6 weeks
Great heater, very effective and great boon having both a heat cut off and timer. Until it stopped functioning - no heat but the clock still working, so item not dead.

fantastic
I'm highly impressed with these. I brought two, where we can't run a central heating system or hot water system.I brought these to help us stay warm. The one I put in smallest bedroom heats it up like a furnace! Its brilliant and the other in the landing has not only dried our clothing when we were without a tumble dryer for six weeks, but it helps warm the whole upstairs area. I will be buying more of these! Not expensive to run either.
