Because of the curved shape of the rod often the part that grips the shower head can be changed from side to side without removal. Good looking.

Excellent product and service
We bought this to replace our existing one as the shower hose bracket had broken. It was a perfect fit and we didn't have to drill any more holes so that was a relief. It seems to have been improved from the old model as well.
