As anyone used this for cloth wipes? How did it do?

Yes! We use Buttons flannel wipes and feed them through the hole. We've also used baby washcloths but didn't feed those through the hole, just lift the lid and pull out the wipe. It can be used either way just fine. I love having both options since we use disposable diapers for the newborn chicken leg phase before switching to one size adjustable cloth diapers and cloth wipes up until potty training.

i had this with my 1st child & wipes would completely dry-out. has this improved? i saw some prince lionheart pillows to keep it moist, does it work?

I've had issues with both of mine. I purchased 2 at the same time on dec 30 2016. The warmers either didn't warm up or they didn't keep the wipes moist. I've contacted lion heart. Hopefully they were just faulty and the replacements are better. My aunt has hers for years with no issues. She didn't even use the lion heart wipes or even the lion heart pillow thing.

How do you open the wipe warmer to get the power cord out?

I'm not sure what you mean, but the warmer opens up where there is an indentation. The cord for me was where you put the wipes. Hope that helps. Maybe there wasn't a cord in your order....

how is it genraly operatsd?please help

Wet the pad that comes with it, add wipes (holds a whole pack), plug it in and leave it alone...warms in a few hours. When wipes are low or out, unplug it, re-wet the pad, add more wipes and plug it back in. Works pretty well, wish it warmed up quicker but the key is to wet the pad every time you add more wipes. I would purchase it again.
