Will help you do an amateur job. *by F***F on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 June 2020* You clearly won't get the results with this set that a luthier would, using e.g. proper nut files, but they did help me improve the action (cut the nut slots lower and adjust the bridge) on a guitar during COVID19 when luthiers near me weren't accepting customers. The radius gauges and the string gauge are useful. The "nut files" work in an emergency but can't really do the job that proper nut files can. I can't see the finer ones surviving more than a few repeat uses.Something to mention is that the radius gauges and the action gauge are "unfinished" metal. They have been cut, but nothing has been done to file off the very sharp edges left after they have been cut. Both (esp the action gauge) are sharp enough to easily scratch your guitar (fretboard/top).
