In other words, shirt sleeve rather than a taco shell** A: It's a taco shell, sorry. And in my opinion (if you read my review), this POS is ridiculously overpriced. For proof, I have this 360mm Nisaku Namida Bread knife that has never ever fit any of the blade sleeve protectors I put on it.. Until now. This fit almost perfectly: it was 2 inches thick, which is enough for the height of the blade, and with a length of 14 inches, it fit better than I expected. Were it not for the angled opening it would have been perfect, but honestly it still does the job that I need it to do: Protect my blade and protect my family. In conclusion, if you have a long blade that is 14 inches long, get this. Such a long blade guard is rare.
