California Kitchen Towel

I purchased this kitchen towel as a present for my grandmother back in Europe; I moved to California 2 years ago and I wanted some California memorabilia for her.What I like the most about the towel is the print; it's classical, with very vivid colors. It shows important landmarks and events in California; it's almost like a history and geography lesson all in one. I cannot state how useful it is as a tea/kitchen towel or how well it washes, my grandmother actually uses it as decoration (on a small table), since she says it's too nice to use. The material in itself it's a thin muslin, slightly rough, didn't seem very absorbent. It's definitely more of a decorative piece than practical item.

I originally Purchased "California Kitchen Towel" as a Gift to a Family member along with the Tablecloth. The Kitchen Towel came all Wrinkle up like somebody have used it, Ironed it and returned it, even though it was "Hermetically Sealed" in the Plastic Bag when I received it, on the outside of the Bag the Company, (I Guess) put a Note saying: "California Kitchen Towel New" ...I was disappointed in the Poor Quality of the Towel, Hand Made in India, very Thin 100% Cotton, it looked so Wrinkled to the point that I never gave it as a Gift, I do like the Nice Colorful Design with the Red, Blue and Yellow Colors, so I keep trying and got some others that looked so much Better. Family and Friends living outside of California really like these Towels and Tablecloths! ...Thank You D.D.

The kitchen towel I purchased arrived quickly which was a blessing since it was a Christmas gift! The towel itself was made beautiful & was wrapped extremely neat so it was not wrinkled! I could tell that who made these towels are very proud if their product & I’d buy from them again!! Thank you fir a wonderful towel!

I didn't buy this as a towel, even though that's what it is, I bought it as decoration and or something that can be turned into art (if it's framed). My BF is moving to cali, and I thought this would be a perfect gift. He loved it. It came fast, not damaged, and wrapped in plastic (which my low-waste self didn't like too much).

I live in CA and we get quite a few visitors coming through for vacation or on their way to Asia or Hawaii. As their host I love to give my special guests like close friends and family a little something of California to take home and this is what I give them. They can use it or frame it as a dishtowel or frame it and hang it up--it is that nice!

Purchased this as a gift. I saw this at an antique store for a higher price so I was happy to find the same one on amazon for much less. The colors are vivid and complimentary compared to the other option of the red. Recipient was also happy to receive this. I'd buy this again for other guests that plan to visit cali.

I bought this as a gift. I was afraid that I wouldn't like it after reading some comments but I am positively surprised actually. If you are looking for something very thick then this isn't a product for you. But I love it and would buy it again for more gifts. It has a vintage feel, love the colours and the flour sack fabric which has a slight texture to it and it feels old and soft.

If you're looking for the ultimate tourist type memorabilia, this is a 50's throwback. Wonderful, fun, very well made flour sack dish cloth with all the right stenciling.
