It works well on the GL1800, but I can't say about the GL1500.

U don't know, I bought it to use on my wife's Honda Element Oil Filter because they are a bear to get off and tighten because they face the firewall? If that filter is the same size as a Honda Element or CRV your in business. Her Element is a 2003. It is a good wrench!

What filter does a CTX 1300 take? If it's the same as a Goldwing 1800 I would say yes. It's a great wrench for my Goldwing; one end fits the filter the other end fits the drain plug.

i have a triumph street tripple r -abs. Will this wrench work?

I don't know. I have the Kawasaki Concours and it doesn't fit the filter for that bike...even though I was told it would.
