Well it is Gold and it is I guess it could be called a chain.. But the picture is deceiving.There should be statement the states; “Picture is enlarged to show to show what it would look like under magnification” I would sum it by saying it is delicate piece of jewelry and just consider who would be wearing it before purchase.

This is a very nice chain and just the length I wanted, but I already broke it once and had to have it repaired...for $40.

I bought this to replace a longer chain that I wear every day. I contacted seller to ask if it would be strong enough for every day and to sleep in. They reassured me that they thought it would. They were very nice and helpful. I have worn it now for over 2 weeks without any problems and am very very pleased with it. It is a lovely sparkly chain and really cimpliments my pendant. I would give it 5 stars if I had it longer but am sure it will live up to a 5 star rating. Lovely chain
