Honestly I found it a little difficult to have to put the cable with the port of my ps vita, it was a little hard to introduce the first time, but then it is easy so it is not a problem. I've been using it for about two months now and it hasn't given me any kind of problem, and it really does look like a real cable. In addition, it perfectly fulfills its function of charging and connecting to a pc to transfer files.

My prior cable was broken and need to buy another replacement. This cable meets its function and pretty solid compared to the prior cable quality.

Never owned the original cable for my Vita, as I got it secondhand. It came with a cheapo USB cable, and when that died, I replaced it with another cheapo cable. They both seemed to fit and work just fine, but after the second one also died, and also refused to connect to my PC via USB, I looked it up and saw that the cable, at least for the Vita, was much more important than I gave it credit for. So I picked this up for a few extra bucks over the cheap knockoffs, and wow, you can instantly tell the difference when plugging it in. With the other cables, they seemed to fit fine, would lock in and everything, so they didn't feel wrong. However, you get SO much more resistance when plugging this in, it's a much more snug fit, and as such, I haven't had any connection issues, whether it's charging or connecting via USB. I'd constantly have to jiggle the cable around on the cheap models to get charging started once they wore down over time, but with this, there's nothing to jiggle, it simply stays, like an immovable object. While I'm sure the actual cable can wear down after abuse, the issue with my previous cables was never the length of cable itself, but rather the connector. And the connector here is built completely different. Easy recommend, spend the few extra bucks. If you can't afford the few extra bucks, wait until you can.

Bought this to assist in modding my PS Vita, and it does everything I need it to do. Charging and data transfer. Speed is limited, but that's not the cable's fault. The device only has so much output capacity.
