REVLON Smooth Brilliance Ceramic Extra Long Flat Iron (1-1/2" inch)

I've never had this much success with flat irons on my thick, coarse, wavy hair until now! Perhaps it's the 1-1/2" width vs. the standard widths I've only known of prior. I appreciate the multiple temperature settings (I tend to select 435-degrees, next to the hottest setting) and that it heats up quickly -- and my hairstyle remains decently smooth and straight for a couple of days, until my next shampoo. Reasonably priced, too! Fabulous find!!

I absolutely love this straightener! It heats up fast, glides smoothly through my hair, and leaves it shiny and frizz-free. The plates don’t snag or pull, and it only takes one or two passes to get perfectly straight results. I also like that it’s lightweight and easy to handle. Definitely one of the best straighteners I’ve owned

If you’re in the market for an affordable hair straightener I highly recommend this one. I had been using very cheap off brand ones from Amazon for the past 2-3 years and I honestly just thought my hair was the problem. After using them my hair would still feel very wiry and look so frizzy and dry. I originally bought this one because I liked the bigger size of it. I have very long, thick hair and wanted more than a 1”. But this has exceeded my expectations. I did my hair in half the time it usually takes and my hair looks and feels so much better than it used to. Works very well, heats up fast, and can cover a lot of area. Get it!

Ok let me start by telling you this is my 3rd flat iron, and I am very impressed with this one. 1) the temperature control has a big range of setting which can be set depending on your hair type, I do have Curley hair but I do treat my hair with keratin treatment so it becomes more sensitive. 2) the 1.5” ceramic tourmaline plate. It gets to do more hair less time. 3) light weight, easy to handle it is light weight. Easy controls and buttons. 4) the design is great because you can used it close to your scalp and not get burned with it. In general it is a very well designed flat iron with great functionalities and I hope it can last me for a long time! A+

Definitely straightens my hair fast but has a weird smell when it’s hot unfortunately, I thought it would go away after a couple uses but still hasn’t.

Straightening my hair takes an eternity because I have very frizzy, voluminous hair that’s curlier on some areas. I prepped my hair by washing it as usual and applying heat protectant on my damp hair. Pros - wider plates that heat up evenly - no hair snagging on the plates means no breakage - a very long swivel cord that comes in handy when curling (yes! You can curl your hair with this hair straightener) - vast array of temperature (I started at 400 which is what I usually do with other straighteners but realized it was too hot so brought it down to 340) - it turns off after a while which is good if you tend to forget to unplug it or turn it off. Cons - the locking feature was a bit tricky, mine would get stuck every now and then - a bit bulky (which is to be expected because of the wider plates), so it wouldn’t make for a good travel hair straightener Overall I really liked this hair straightener specially after comparing it to other similar brands.

Fácil de usar y de almacenar. Anteriormente adquirí la misma plancha, pero más angosta y puedo decir que esta la supera, ya que agiliza el tiempo de planchado, además de que se necesitan pocas pasadas. Lo que más me gusta de éste modelo es que puedes regular fácilmente la temperatura de acuerdo a tu tipo de cabello. En verdad vale la pena adquirirla.
