Jeremywell Spindle Assembly Replaces Murray 492524 1001046 1001200 for 38" 40" 42" 46" Decks

This spindle assembly was a perfect fit for my old Murray Garden Tractor with a 46' deck. It comes complete with the necessary spacer, jackshaft, and blade adapter. Easy to install - just remove the jackshaft cap nut, remove the pulley(s), remove the blade then remove the 5 self-tapping bolts which hold it to the deck. Then reverse the steps to put the new one in. None of these spindles are pre threaded, so use a little caution when removing and replacing the self-tapping bolts, they reportedly have a tendency to break. They are available on Amazon if needed and, in a pinch, a bolt and nut could be used.

Fit perfectly just removed the old changed the pulley over to the new one and installed easily

The product had broken teeth where the shaft meets the spinal housing. YOu can see it is cheap metal and will not hold up with normal use.

Awesome jerbs guys and gals. I had to use the old rod in the center since it was for an ancient riding mower but it worked out perfect. It didn’t come with bolts☹️ but you still got a perfect review 🤗. Other than that everything is of sound quality and fits nicely.

Good replacement part. Comes with grease zirks make sure you tease the unit before using it. I have one that is one year old and is still going strong. Just replaced the other one my rider. Works as it should.

Installed easily with self tapping bolts. I had to replace both mandrels. Took about 1/2 hour for both. Good price for a good product. Already have 10 hours of use on them and no problems.
