Amazing quality for such a low price
The edge came sharp enough to shave my arm - rare for an amazon knife - the handle feels great in the hand. The edge after some brief testing on wood and even clanking against a metal pipe didnt roll or chip even slightly, nor dull at all. The wonders of well-treated D2 steel.A lovely little tough knife perfect for my line of work in the army having to often cut through thick material or wiring, a beautiful looking blade with a very nice feeling locking mechanism. The lock is solid and I'd trust it not to take my fingers off in the event of an... EDC situation arising. On top of that the blade shape lends itself quite well to prospects as a potential self defense tool in dire circumstances. The knife is also very sleek, thin, and not flashy, meaning it's quite easy to carry anywhere and forget about.I have to say, I'm impressed. I expected much, much worse.

Nice EDC Knife
I have a Kubey fixed blade knife and thought I would try one of their folding knives. So I ordered on and discovered that Kubey makes fine knives. The Hero is well finished with a partially blacked blade. The assisted opening action is smooth and solid. All the guys at the local gun store wonder where I found this knife. It is comparable to more expensive brands. Okay it comes from China, but it is a good knife.

Overall, a let down
The GOOD: It is razor sharp, looks badass, and is better constructed/sturdier than I expected. The BAD: A significant amount of force needs to be applied to the flipper to open it. Just playing with it today, my fingers (both index fingers and both thumbs) are already sore from the teeth on the flipper, and my gf (who I bought it for) is completely unable to open it one-handed. Also, half the time the blade doesn't fully open unless I flick my wrist slightly. The knife was cheap, so I won't bother with trying to return it, but realistically it'll probably get lost in a drawer somewhere.

Great price point a lot of value for your money.
Great looking knife bought it for my collection and EDC . The blade is well centered, smooth opening, flicks out fairly easy and is comfortable in the hand. Great lock up no play blade came sharp out of the box. .

Excellent knife
Solid knife. Smooth opening and folding. The grip feels nice and stable in the hand. The textured grip is also pleasant. Feels like a knife worth more than is charged.

Flimsy
Clip broke within days of edc. Tried emailing the company and crickets. They won't stand behind their product.

Surprisingly very good!
Received my knife quickly and packaged well. Upon opening, it seemed a little smaller than in the pictures but opened smoothly and easily; something I demand out of a good knife. As I examined the knife closely, everything seemed to be in good order. The texture of the handle is a little rough but not enough to be a major issue. My first test of the blade came when slicing the packaging of a wrap on bulk water bottles. To my surprise, the blade went through it like it wasn’t even there. I was quite impressed! I then re-examined the blade to check for any knicks or marks and found zero. I have yet to use it on anything heavy duty, but I have to say that the D2 steel appears to be legit. I have since ordered another blade I was eyeing from Kubey due to the impressive nature of the D2 steel. Overall, this offering from Kubey left me satisfied enough to consider more products from them in the future. I definitely recommend this edc-capable knife to whoever is considering giving it a try.
