The bands around the fan are a cheap silver metal. It is nowhere near the color on the photo. Also, the worst part is that I paid an electrician to install it and immediately noticed the metal is bent, there is a gap, and the pattern doesn't even match. It very poorly made and I wouldn't buy it for $1. Unfortunately, I'm out the money used to have this cheap fan installed! Just noticed, there is RUST on the metal. After searching You Tube and going over the instructions, they finally found a small piece of paper talking about the remote control. This piece of paper should have been included on the same pages as the instructions.
