DECKY Jeep Cap

Purchased three different colors and the Black and Navy were great and both got 5 star reviews. However the story is much different with the Heather Charcoal color. The first hat I received had the stitching on the brim broken and the brim was poking out on both sides . . . so I got a replacement . . . the replacement arrived and this hat was so small that I had a difficult time fitting my fist into it - literally. I can't imaging a child being able to fit this on its head. It seems like the quality control is a little sketch, so just beware before buying. These hats aren't expensive, but it still kind of stinks to receive two hats that were defective.

I originally wanted to give 5 stars because the first hat I bought was brown and it was perfect. The Brown hat fit, it was warm and it was cheap. I ordered a second hat, the heather charcoal (dark grey) and I should have read reviews before buying that hat. The reviews are correct, buy any color other than that charcoal color. The hat looks like they took a regular child sized beanie and then folded the lip around a piece of plastic to make a bill. The end result is that it looks poor, the threads are loose and it is far too small to wear. BTW I ordered a replacement to be sure and the replacement came exactly the same way. Do yourself a favor and order any other color than the charcoal for a 5 star product.

This is a good cap for the 50 - 25-degree range. Not lined, so not warm enough for cold winter (at least for a bald guy like me). It is very stretchy so should fit most sizes. I wear a 7-1/4 hat, and this could fit a smaller or larger head with no trouble. It is pretty tall, so I roll up the sides pretty high to make it fit flat on the top of my head, so there's room if you had a lot of hair under it. I'm pleased.

My better half loves this type of cap, and this year I purchased several, for me to have one too. The brim keeps snow out of my eyes! It really does make a difference. The caps are soft and warm. I assumed they are one size, but they do seem to differ. Ok for me, but his head is sensitive. Be sure to try on right away.

I was expecting a tighter cap with a separate, sewn-on bill. This is a HUGE low quality acrylic stocking cap with a piece of freaking plastic sewn in to make a duck bill. Seriously, skip this mess. I have nothing but regret and am going to cut the stupid bill out to wear it as a regular floppy cap. Very disappointing.

This hat is just a tad snug, but it feels comfortable, looks good, and is warm on my medium-sized, adult head. From the front view, there are small corners/"horns" on the seam that protrude a little bit, but I expect them to relax a bit with wear. This minor drawback is outweighed by the affordable price for such a nice-looking and functional hat. I got the navy and will get olive next.

I bought several of this type of hat as I wasn't sure which would be best for me. Most were well made and warm but this style of hat is not for everyone. So while I like the quality of this one, the look on me is a bit odd.Update- Tried it out again in cold weather and it is warm, I just can't get over the odd shape. That being said, it is #2 out of the 3 similar hats that I purchased.

Wrong color. I ordered the bright red (the one that is so bright that it almost looks like an orange traffic cone), but got a dark red one instead. Don't know if it was a mistake.The folding flap is not as deep on the front as the picture shows. The flap is very shallow on the front. Not as advertised. Returned.

La calidad de la tela es muy buena, es caliente y protege bien contra el frío, el defecto que encuentro es que es grande para personas con cabeza un poco pequeña, y parecen muñecos usando el gorro. Quizá para personas con cabeza voluminosa sea adecuado pero si no eres de esas, mejor no lo intentes comprar. Al menos este modelo ya que cubre hasta el cuello en la parte trasera, probare con otro modelo de gorro a ver qué tal resulta.

Bought this same hat in two different colors. One was too large and one was too tight. The stitching on one exploded the first day so that the bill fell right out of it and it's now just a reg beanie. I don't recommend these at all

This cap is 100% acrylic,so while being warm it doesn't breath well and may get itchy after a while. It's a little looser than I'd expect a jeep cap to be,and the visor tends to fold upward instead of staying level. But it's warm enough for cold weather and a good price.

C'est un beau produit mais pas assez chaud pour les jours d'hiver car la laine n'est pas assez dense, et la taille est un peu trop petite pour moi. Je suis un peu déçu du produit qui me semblait correct sur la photo proposée.

Compré 3 piezas y todas traían el mismo defecto, es decir, en principio no son como las de la imagen porque donde se hace el doblez en la frente estaba disminuído porque la misma pieza la usaron para la visera y ya no alcanzó la tela para hacer el doblez frontal y quedó arrugado y corto: sr ve horrible. Por esta razón las tuve que devolver sin dudarlo.
