This is a ridiculously good speaker for the cost. For a portable speaker to be as loud as to reach 40W just goes to show how much tech has progressed. - Build. Firstly the build quality is decent. You get a ruberrised material all around the speaker with plastic grills on the front and back. The rubber will give it that shock resistant and has a nice grippy feel. It has a nice weight to it also without being too heavy so not losing the portabilty quality - and it's a decent size to pack away in your suitcase. There is also a metal clip on the side should you wanna attach it to a bag etc. - Sound. Most importantly the sound is great. You have clarity and loudness and bass. The low ends are punchy and mids and high are very decent for the costs of this speaker. The loudness of this product is crazy. I would not expect 40w to come out of something this size. It goes very loud and will easily fill up a decent sized room which is perfect for having a party in your room whilst your on holiday or otherwise! I noticed however at max volume the sound wasn't as clear and was too loud for me so keep it a few buttons below max. - Connectivity. One of the best features of this speaker imo is the connectivity. Finally a USB C portable speaker. This means you don't need to carry around several diff cables and I can just use the same charger as my phone to charge this if needed. It comes included with a USB cable should you not have one but as this is the standard that everything is moving to in the near future I'm happy that the brand took a step in the right direction. There is also an aux port should you want to have a physical connection and a micro sd card reader. Overall an amazing sounding device with some nice useful features for an affordable price. You will not feel like you're paying for something you're not getting.

The first thing that hit me with this speaker is the quality of sound. It has a crisp and clear sound with a good range to it, whether you are listening to heavier bassed music or high pitched instruments. Turning the volume up to full does not distort sound quality in anyway like what happens to some speakers for the same price. It has a button on the top which changes the speaker to 3D sound mode. This basically does what it says on the tin and spreads the sound out to make it more like surround sound. It was easily loud enough the living room and at work in a fairly noisy environment. The speaker itself its quite heavy but due to its size its still easy to carry in you bag and would be perfect for a weekend away or festivals. The speaker is splashproof for definite as i tested this, however i did not fully submerge the speaker or take it in the shower itself. It has a little hanging hook on the right side of the speaker so you can attach it to your rucksack or suspend/hang it from a tent etc. Overall it will be a neat little speaker to take to a festival without having to worry about it getting wet. Its easy to connect with via bluetooth and connects as soon as you turn bluetooth on your phone. Also has the option on a line in cable which means you can connect via a aux lead which is supplied if you dont want to use bluetooth (maybe you want to save phone battery). It also has a slot for a microSD card. So you can play music directly off of this if you wanted to, rather then connecting a device. This speaker charges via a type C cable. It takes the same amount of time to charge as the average speaker does roughly an hour or so but i didnt time it exactly.

I purchased this speaker to use for busking to play my backing track, as an intermediate between my proper roll-along busking speaker (too bulky to take on the train) and my Anker Soundcore (not powerful enough in the open). This speaker has plenty of oomph with adequate bass and a realistic sound, and can keep up with a noisy saxophone in the open, so it could also be used to power a small house or garden party via bluetooth from your phone. Compared with the Anker, the battery life is not as good (but still about 4 hours I guess) if you leave it on by mistake it occasionally 'hangs' where you can't turn it off/on, and have to wait for the battery to run down and the unit to switch off before you can recharge and get working again (the only reason why i took off a star) Although the Anker has a slightly clearer treble/high frequency response, this speaker is perfectly fine and has much better bass and overall volume. As the Anker has gone up in price, this one when purchased at £32 last year seems pretty good value in comparison.

I purchased a similar type of speaker for using in our bathroom and would try and swap them over if they weren’t different colours. My model is grey and plastic looking butcthus one is a better looking smarter device made from a black rubber material with the best buttons for volume, play and pause on the top which are flat and are hardly noticeable apart from the symbols which is a great look. I fully charged the speaker ready for my son to use which only took approximately one hour. He had used his I pad and Samsung phone and run them both through the new speaker and it’s LOUD and has an amazing crystal clear sound and at one point it was causing vibrations in his bedroom and I was worried about our neighbours ha ha!! It is loud enough with much much more power in the volume which I’m sure he will test when we are out of the house 🏠 It’s really is great value for money at £38 when you compare to Bose for example at £130 and to me the Bose just sounds the same so why not save yourself £92, to me it’s a no brainier. I’m going to buy two more of these nearer Christmas for my daughters to take back to university with them. I know what my son is like for dropping his iPad (cracked and repaired twice) iPhone (smashed screen and repaired, then dropped down the toilet beyond repair) Samsung phone(smashed screen currently saving up to repair himself) As you can see he cannot be trusted with devices, HOWEVER I have piece of mind with this durable waterproof speaker that if he drops it, which he will, I know it will bounce and stay in one piece and save me a fortune in money!! Very impressed so far, will update further down the line!!

Really good, decent sound, connects easily, and I can get another one at a later date an pair them for true stereo sound if i want. Update, it broke after 4 months, so down from 5 to 3 stars.

Top notch speaker out there, for the price, and especially now, after years, when everything else is way worse. Main reason of writing this review, years after, is, that every new speaker is way worse, absolutely non comparable to this - no name - one. (Within price range). Also message to people who get permanent 'blue light' (of death lol). Like one lady, who had to return perfectly good speaker, because there is no single word of this in manual. And anywhere. Permanent BLUE LIGHT, no reaction of any kind = CRASHED. Needs resetting. 3 buttons at the same time. Either any, or power+plus+minus for 15 seconds about. Not 3, not 10. Longer. Speaker very powerful. Nothing is available now at this price, as tried to get few more. Fantastic bass. Massive battery life. Completely waterproof - drowned it in bath for testing. Passed. After many years, about 4, works perfectly. Quality NOT degraded. Also. This is 'work speaker' - treated to worst possible degree. And it's still alive.

I purchased this product because of the description and reviews. Any comments I make but be viewed that I have only had the speaker one week. My initial response is one of being very pleased. It seems well made and durable. I feel the description of it may lead to you believe it is miracle of modern technology !!! The sound is clear but note some songs seem clearer than others. The volume is advertised at 40 watts, which I find difficult to believe although it can be pretty loud. This review may seem rather muted when I am very pleased with the speaker. So much so, I have purchased another one for true stereo sound. I hope this is of help! REVISED REVIEW - ALTHOUGH I WAS ORIGINALLY VERY PLEASED WITH THE SPEAKERS. ONE HAS NOW STOPPED WORKING ALTHOUGH I HAVE ONLY USED IT ABOUT 20 HOURS IN THE LAST 2 YEARS. I FEEL THAT IT CANNOT BE RECOMMENDED IN VIEW OF THIS. Have wanted a portable stereo speakers unit and great choice I made here. I go camping and wanted portable speakers as the speakers in my tablet are very poor quality and low volume when listening to my favourite 80's tracks. This unit made me say "wow" they are brilliant. Waterproof, robustly protected by its rubber surround case, protective rubber tag over the card, jack and power slots, strong fold flat hook eye. After reading the instructions it's very easy to operate as the buttons are clearly easy to understand. Powered on and a noise lets you know it's on and switched off. Very impressed with the sound quality and loudness and the 3D button when pressed puts it into surround sound mode. It's easy to operate but you have to press the buttons firmly because of it's protective rubber casing, not a problem after you get used to it. Took it into my garage which is at the end of the garden and left my tablet indoors. Bluetooth connection was perfect, so no problems with the distance. Overall I cant fault this unit, it's brilliant.
