the only aviation headset with a detachable boom mike
Ok. I feel I got what I paid for. That said, if I was feeling a bit richer I probably would have replaced my lost Lightspeed set with Lightspeed. The audio functionality is fine... once you get through fiddling with the detachable boom mike which has this annoying habit of wiggling... and detaching itself while you are trying to adjust the location of the mike. The For Now School of Instant Engineering has come up with a For Now solution... using a bit of synthetic wine cork, a rubber band and some dental tape. I invite you to try on your own and we can share. Prizes for slick and prizes for ugly... ;-) (mine will look better after I apply black magic marker)

Very serviceable and I still have $900 in my pocket.
They work great. Are they Bose? No. But they aren't $1200. Vocal frequency sound quality is good but it's lacking low frequency response. Talking to ATC or other plane occupants is no problem but listening to music requires a lowering of your sound quality standards. Would I purchase another set, yes. If I flew professionally, I'd get the Bose but for my <100hr/yr flying, I'd rather put the extra $900 into avionics.

So happy with this purchase. The noise cancellation is amazing, they are very comfortable and the sound quality is perfect. Very pleased with this purchase.

Noise Cancellation times out
The headset works well except that the noise cancellation times out after about 15 minutes, regardless of which mode setting you use. I tried to contact the company that distributes this product, but it appears they may be out of business. That's probably why this item is no longer available!

Money saver and great quality!
Absolutely love this headset. Definitely worth the $300. Noise cancellation works like a gem. Able to listen to music on my phone via Bluetooth or aux cord, and makes calls from the plane a lot easier! I’d definitely recommend this headset to any pilot especially if you want something similar to the Bose A20.

Don’t buy if you need a aviation headset
The product as simple active noise cancellations headphones - they are probably great. However don’t buy if you need a aviation headset.
