Sherlock Holmes Classic Inverness Wool Cape Coat Black

I am very happy with this coat. It is warm and soft, and the stitching is sturdy. Paired with a blue scarf, I can pop the collar and look all cool and mysterious whilst not freezing to death.[Update, Dec 27, 2014.] I've had this coat for over a year now, and it is still going strong. None of the stitching has come loose, I've found no random loose strings, none of the buttons have fallen off, and the liner is still firmly attached.

I love this coat, which is why I'm not returning it despite the fact that it IS too big. After reading the fitting guides (and being very confused, which is totally my fault!) I sized up, as several people mentioned to do, and got an XL. A Large would have suited me probably, but I can definitely fix this coat so that it fits me. It's seriously very, VERY well made, a perfect replica of the coat BC wears in BBC Sherlock. It's seriously gorgeous, and can't wait to wear it this winter! With the collar turned up, obviously!

I'm not a guy, but since I used to wear my ex's small coats I thought it might fit. Nope. I'm 5'3" 124 lbs. the shoulders are toowide for a woman and the waist isn 't fitted to a smaller waist. Looks baggy. I'm keeping it to give to my ex. He's Japanese,about a 38 coat size and I'm pretty sure he'll rock it.

How is this an Inverness Cape without a cape on it? Without a cape it's just a topcoat, so what's the point?

Purchased as a gift for my daughter, a Sherlock fan. She LOVED it! It's very warm - just what she needed for her semester abroad in London.

Even though it is somewhat large for me(which I expected since I am a woman buying a man's coat), it is a very accurate replica and I feel totally cool wearing it, Cool, but warm : ) I recommend this coat for any fan of Sherlock.

I wanted to know if this coat has a lining or if you can put one in it. Thanks.
