Apple iMac 21.5in (Late 2012) - Core i5 2.7GHz, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD (Renewed)

I was very sceptical about purchasing a iMac -or any computer for that matter - that has been “renewed”. I read the reviews and coupled with the price and the warranty I decided to go for it; I don’t regret it. It came exceptionally packed and on first taking it out I couldn’t believe it wasn’t new, no marks, scratches or nicks anywhere and came with original Apple keyboard and mouse. As soon as it was plugged in, my fears of any issues were gone. Set up was easy and coming from a pc to Mac has been quite intuitive. I love this mac, I doubt I will ever go back to owning a pc again; I nearly threw my old one out of the window from sheer frustration of clunky, unresponsive, spinning “blue circle of death” and endless “restarts”before buying this. I am thoroughly happy, it not only looks brilliant it works brilliantly. If you’re looking to buy I recommend IT Trade, just remember to source a power cable as well when you buy as this was not included in box and even though it wasn’t included, it is no reason to give less than 5 stars. It comes with El Capitan X OS and I upgraded to Mojave via the Apple store so I could download the latest versions of a Microsoft Office applications and Outlook. Setting up my printer was done in moments, synchronicity of iPad and accounts was seamless. I didn’t use the recommended migration assistant to transfer my files from the pc to the iMac. I would suggest buying a memory stick and transfer your files that way, much easier and less of a headache due to the conflicts from one machine to the other.

Very pleased with my Mac! There was an error when mine was shipped in that the power cable wasn't included in packaging but I rang the seller using the phone number on the card included and they were so incredibly good about it and made sure I got it as soon as possible. The two members of staff I spoke to we're both wonderful and I can't commend them enough, I wish I could remember their names to thank them specifically. The Mac itself looks great, not a scratch on it, and since getting the power cable it runs perfectly and quickly like a new machine would. It'll be perfect for my work as a designer and is well worth the money.

I bought the computer, it worked for 3-4 days. I sent the computer back and the seller said that can't solve it, that I must have broken it and that the warranty won't cover the problem. And that he will send the broken computer back to me. Result, I lost the work that I have done in the computer, don't have a computer, don't have the money that I paid for the computer, lost my job, still they're holding me responsible for the broken computer. I'm really frustrated and I want my money back, or a computer that works.

Absolutely awesome. I never leave review but on this occasion I can’t resist. I didn’t expect I will get an absolute amazing piece of kit. It has no scratch or mark at all. Looks and work like brand new. Just one bad thing that like other people who received I did not receive the original keyboard and mouse hence I gave 4 star other wise this is the best deal I have ever had with refurbished items.

Purchased this to replace our late 2012 iMac which died and failed to turn on. The refurbished replacement from One Click Crazy Deals arrived with a wireless keyboard and mouse, power lead and easy to follow instructions. With our time machine backup disk connected to a USB port, its contents were quickly transferred to the refurbished iMac without a hitch. It works perfectly! Sound quality seems clearer than before! I have to say that there was a lot of umming and ahhhing before I finally bit the bullet and ordered this refurbished iMac. It was like new out of the box and even with me being a first time Mac owner it was easy to set up - apart from me not being familiar with setting up the 'magic' keyboard (check batteries if not working). I hold my hands up to not being an Apple fan in the past, but having used an iMac for work I was swayed and can now see why they are popular. I'm a keen hobby photographer too, so when my laptop screen started playing up I knew I wanted an iMac, but there is no way I could afford a brand spanking new one... So far, I am tickled pink with my buy and no one would ever know that it's refurbished. It came installed with the latest Mojave operating system and mine came with an Apple mouse and keyboard which I didn't expect, but was a nice surprise (I expected generic versions). It also arrived a week earlier than expected. It came packaged very well (in the original apple packaging), which was something I was concerned about as I live abroad. One thing that did surprise me was the outer box was not labelled fragile and when I removed it there was an obvious knock on the original box. I opened it with one eye closed, dreading to see any damage, but it was so well packed there was none. All in all, I would recommend this iMac to anyone looking to get an iMac without wanting to pay silly money. Oh, and it also came with a seller backed one-year guarantee, which helped seal the deal for me.

I bought an iMac for the first time and my budget was limited. I am glad that I found 1 click crazy deals and bought myself a very cheap yet perfect condition clean secondhand device. they are very supportive if you need help while setting up as well. the packaging was enough and there was a compatible keyboard and mouse ready with batteries in the box with instructions. the device was spotless as it was bought from an Apple store. this level of service needs applause! thanks again

the mac itself works fine and was in a good condition when it arrived, the keyboard supplied with the mac however doesn't work anymore, the low battery light shines even with new batteries and does not type leaving the mac useless until I can buy a replacement keyboard

I put this iMac into service February, 2018. Even though it was refurbished, it seemed to be in new condition. Everything works and it is much faster than other Macs I have (due to Quad core). The screen is bright and sharp. The Magic Mouse is great. I wish the keyboard had a ten key number pad. I've been back with Mac since 2004 after living in the PC world for almost 20 years. Neither world is perfect, but I enjoy the integration of the Apple eco-system and use it to the fullest with iPhone, iPads, and AppleTV's. The way that family works together is without parallel in the PC world. ======== Update (2 years later): Ultimately I found the internal 1TB HDD to be too slow...bootup took forever...so I took it to my local Apple certified support store and had them swap that out for a 256Gb SSD. It now boots very quickly and seems to have less problems with the OS clean-installed on that SSD. I keep all data on an external Drobo drive so that all that is on the SSD permanently is the OS...which leaves about 185Gb of temp storage space for working space. It also works well for iCloud documents which disappear from the local drive after a period of inactivity with a given document. ========== Update 2 (after 4 years) I have four Macs in operation ranging in dates from 2010 (running El Capitan) to a new M1 MacMini. I do have Big Sur running on this 2015 iMac without problems or stalling issues. Of the four, I think this iMac may be the most dependable and robust of the lot. It is really a good computer (after the SSD upgrade I mentioned above)....maybe the best Mac I've ever owned (and I'm sure I've had at least 10). This is a heqq of a value.
