I don't know why people didn't like them or found them to be hard to use unless you have very arthritic or severe problem with your hands. My hands have gotten weak over time but I found these very comfortably, easy to use with no problems and very sharp. I've bought other scissors by Westcott and find them to be a great brand of scissors at a reasonable cost. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ awesome pinking *by A***R on August 10, 2020* Great scissors. They use ball bearings this makes a better cutting motion. I am a big fan of Wescott products. They right up there with the other brands. Might be better. They are very tight out of the package They don't have a screw type adjustment; I think they require a key. This causes them to rub against my thumb. Also the cut is not as deep as I'm accustomed to; it is sort of a scalloped/pinking cut.
