Finally a product that works! I think I tried all of them, but still the kink in the neck was inevitable. This one is expensive, but worth every penny. It keeps the head gently to the side, not forcing it forward or sideways like these other soft headrests. It works great with or without booster seat, it is low enough. It even beats the booster seat headrest support that I removed long time ago, because it was more of problem than solution. It is easy to install, easy to maintain and can be stowed away if not in use. Even the 6 year old can bring it down from upright position when needed. Absolutely recommended and the last headrest I will ever buy.

Works well, really difficult to put on some seats. It's a high quality piece and works well once in place. We rented a minivan for a long family vacation. (Chrysler tonn-n-country) . The threaded shafts for the hooks are maybe 3mm too short, it was extremely frustrating to put on. When I installed it in my Pathfinder, a bit easier but it's not made to be easily installed and removed. So if you do any hauling in your SUV, where you need to fold the seats down, it's a hassle.As far as functionality for the headrest itself, five stars. My five year old really likes it for long trips. If they could only make a quick-release one....

This was a lifesaver for our long car trips! My son is tall for his age a quickly outgrew his high back booster. We have bucket seats in our van and it was hard to nap or relax on long car trips without the side support. This solved our problem! He can now nap easily again without sliding back and forth in the seat. It is made of high quality material and is very sturdy. It was super easy to assemble, but it was a little difficult to install in our Town and Country van because of the non-adjustable headrests on the stow and go seats. We were able to do it by having one person sit behind the seat and hold it tightly flush, wedging the bar in the available space between headrest and top of seat and have the other person screw on the bolts to attach. It would be no problem whatsoever if you can adjust your headrest. It was worth the extra effort though! I also love that you can move it out of the way easily when not needed.

I replaced my son's bulky car seat with a backless booster seat for versatility. But naptime became compromised with the absence of head support. This is a wonderful complement to a backless booster seat. I read in one review that you cannot install it if you have a non-removable headrest. You can as long as the bars of your headrest are straight. In my case, it's too slanted so the little hooks doesn't reach out to attach through. No big deal. I just resorted to using wire velcro. I have a low head clearance compact SUV so it voided the swing back action of one arm. Still, not a big deal for me. I really don't need that swing back action and I just keep the arms down. But I wish the arms were adjustable. They seem too far apart and the padding was thin, not enough for cushion. To resolve that, I attached those seatbelt pillows to the arms to keep my son's head steadily supported. So far it does the trick. He now sleeps comfortably and longer. But I think I paid too much and adjusted a lot to make it work for me. So, I may be happy that it serves its purpose but I can only give it three stars.

We purchased this for our 6 year old in preparation for a 10 day road trip where we hoped he would be able to sleep more comfortably. I installed the device before our trip to see what he thought and it has been an unquestioned hit! He loves it and uses it often. He generally does not sleep in the car, but since the addition of the headrest he has slept on multiple occasions, and thankfully slept well on our trip out west.Installation was simple and should work on any vehicle with a headrest that raises to expose the two metal poles. Took less than five minutes and I could easily move it between cars just as quickly. The device is well made and has held up to frequent use over the last six weeks. Lowering the headrests is simple as well, and my 6 year old figured it out on the first try. He easily raises and lowers it when he chooses to.It is important to have reasonable expectations though, this device does not cradle your kids head, it provides support. We brought a blanket that he placed between his head and the headrest for additional support and it helped make it even more comfortable.

We could not be happier with the Cardiff Headrest!! We stay very busy with our 6 year old...driving around to karate, soccer, basketball, etc. It's like we live in our car. LOL! Many times he doses off or takes naps in the car and the Cardiff headrest is there for him. It definitely provides comfort and keeps his head from touching the window. It's great! We have one in both our cars and love it! We highly recommend it!

My mother is notorious for falling asleep in the car. Absurdly fast. And her head is always dangling or tilted to these uncomfortable-looking angles that can't be good for the body. So this seemed like a no-brainer. I have only been in the car with her once or twice since installing this, but it did work to some degree. I looked over and saw her head resting against one of the sides of it, as intended. And the sides can be moved up or down to adjust for people's height. However, the width between the sides is quite a bit, which still allows for lots of play when not leaning directly against one of the sides. Unfortunately this width can't be adjusted. So good to some degree, but I wish there was a tighter fit for the head to limit side-to-side head sway.

This is an excellent product for anyone who need to rest in the car. Very adjustable and comfortable. My daughters love it.Cardiff customer service is excellent. I bought this open box unit off of amazon and it was missing the mounting parts. Amazon could only offer a return, but Cardiff sent me parts that I needed free of charge!

Cet appui-tête permet à mon fils de 5 ans, qui pour des questions de place est assis sur un réhausseur de ne pas avoir le nez qui pique. On a aussi deux autres enfants sur des sièges auto et cosy larges et cette solution nous permet de faire rentrer dans une berline les trois enfants à l'arrière. Question confort, c'est aussi bien qu'un réhausseur avec dossier, mais beaucoup moins encombrants.Le plus : c'est très facile à monter, la clé allen est fournie.

Habe die Kopfstützen sehr schnell erhalten und war auf Anhieb begeistert. Die Kopfstützen sind leicht zusammenzubauen und mit ein paar Handgriffen auch leicht an den Kopfstützen zu montieren. Die Kopfstützen bieten guten Schutz und die Kleinen können sich gut anlehnen wenn sie einschlafen. Auch für Erwachsene sehr gut geeignet, da sie mit den Kopfstützen in der Höhe verstellt werden können. Wenn sie nicht gebraucht werden klappt man sie einfach hoch, sodass sie nicht mehr stören. Kleines Manko: die Einraststellungen zum festen Einrasten sind sehr weit auseinander. Dazwischen hält die Kopfstütze schlecht auf den Rastern.Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Produkt das ich auch in meinem Bekanntenkreis weiterempfehlen werde.Ich habe bis jetzt auch noch kein vergleichbares Produkt gefunden.
